About This Property
Located at the gateway of the Valley of the Moon - a 10 minute drive to St. Francis Center on Calistoga and hwy 12. This small one bedroom, one bath cottage is 3 miles up Los Alamos Road. This cottage is a small round cedar yurt - with full wrap around deck overlooking young oak woodlands. Its approximately 500 square feet - including the deck. There is a washer & dryer in an enclosure on the deck. A luxury clawfoot tub and shower -- as well as an outdoor shower on the deck. Located 3+ miles up Los Alamos Road - the surrounding area went through the fall 2020 fire - the main house was lost in the fire, as well as the bridge and star house. This cottage use to be a vacation rental and was loved by so many people who came from around the world to stay here. It is walking distance to Hood mountain park. you must have a car to live here as it takes 10+ minutes to reach the cottage. There is a spacious parking spot right next to the cottage. There is also a vintage airstream in great shape that can be used as an office or additional guest unit to be used by the tenants as part of the monthly rental. There is a spring/winter waterfall on the property (it is listed in the lovers guide to waterfalls).
