Free parking available and garages available for rent at $200 per month. Tenants may access shared basement lounge. The "Castle", built in 1879 by Frederick J. Stone, a gray stone mansion in a popular Romanesque Revival style located in Dobbs Ferry overlooking the Hudson River. Once known as "Castle Waltson," the home of famed orator and political speechmaker Robert G. Ingersoll, son in law Waltson H. Brown builder of railroads and daughter Eva Ingersoll-Brown a feminist and suffragist. While the exterior has been preserved in its original form, the "Castle", has responded well to changing times. The interior was converted from a 22-room mansion into 12 fully renovated apartments while maintaining the character of the castle and providing tenants with all the charms of modern society.

Located about six miles north of Yonkers, Dobbs Ferry residents enjoy New York's comprehensive mass transit system, including the Metro-North Railroad. The Dobbs Ferry station provides service via the Hudson Line, which takes passengers the 20 miles into Manhattan quickly and easily.
Like much of New York, Dobbs Ferry dates back to colonial times. It was first settled in the late 1600s. In 1698, John Dobbs established a ferry service. During the American Revolution, General George Washington and his troops encamped in Dobbs Ferry. The Mead House, built in 1855, is now home to the Dobbs Ferry Historical Society.
