College Heights is a small neighborhood in the northeastern corner of Reading. Deemed a historic district in 2012, College Heights maintains a quaint charm with apartments in brick buildings and single-family houses in classic architectural styles like Four Squares and Tudors. As its name implies, the neighborhood is situated around Albright College. This historic locale provides residents with access to plenty of green space. Hampden Park borders College Heights to the east while Antietam Lake Park is only three miles away and is great for fishing and hiking. There are several restaurants, pubs, and stores right outside of College Heights, but residents take full advantage of being close to Downtown Reading, which is filled with some of the best dining, shopping, and entertainment options in the city.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
