Built as a stable in 1896, 15 Barrow Street was converted into apartments in the mid 1920's. The building still retains many characteristics of its former use, included the original horse pendant on the front facade. Arched windows line the front of the apartment, with cast iron columns and an arched doorway in the main entrance of the building, indicative of the Romanesque Revival era.Apartment 4F is a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment that features original wide plank hardwood floors, a fully renovated eat-in kitchen, and Italian marble fireplace. Pocket doors separate the large bedroom from the main living space, which can comfortably fit a king-sized bed set. Located on a quiet side street between 7th Ave South and West 4th Street, 15 Barrow is truly in the heart of some of the best restaurants and nightlife in New York City.
