About This Home
1900+hydro/some heat. Massive 2 bedroom plus den, spaced out over two floors, with additional storage at the front entrance. Perfect for a work from home setup,a couple or room mates that want a bit of space. The space is very large, with all other homes like this being listed at 3+ bedrooms. The good: Incredible location on the Corktown/Stinson border. Steps to downtown, but is in a quiet and safe pocket of the city. Safe home, community minded neighbours and finding street parking within a few doors is never an issue. The large balcony is a great space in the summer. Character home with good vibes. The top floor is baseboard heat that you are responsible for with your hydro, however the 2nd floor is linked into main furnace,so you will get most of your heat that way. Water is included in rent. The bad:The laundry is a very small all-in-one washer/dryer. It's fine for two people, but would not really work well for more than that. No dishwasher. However previous tenants have used a portable/counter top one. Available March 1st,can arrange move in access a couple of days early. Credit report, proof of employment required (id:52069) ID#: 1756054

Hamilton, Ontario lies at the western end of Lake Ontario on the southern shore of landlocked Hamilton Harbour. The city was named after George Hamilton, who established the original town in 1815. Today, Hamilton is known as one of Canada’s leading industries for iron and steel. Other industries in the city include the manufacturing of railroad equipment, clothing, appliances, and automotive parts. One of the most important places to visit is Dundurn Castle, the former site of a fortified military encampment established by the British in 1813.
Since Hamilton is close to Niagara Falls, check out the Niagara Escarpment, which provides spectacular scenery with beautiful trails and waterfalls. If you’re looking for a good place to take a stroll with your family, Bayfront Park offers a calm environment to watch the duck, geese, and birds. A must-see is the Waterfalls of Hamilton. Pack a lunch and bring a camera to capture the natural beauty of Hamilton.
