Situated on the North Peninsula, Ormond by the Sea is a roughly five-mile stretch of land between the Halifax River and the Atlantic Ocean. The area attracts new residents, tourists, and seasonal residents alike for its pristine beaches and natural beauty backed by residential areas. Renters have a variety of condos and beach houses to choose from. Ocean Shore Boulevard runs behind the beach and provides a plethora of dining and shopping options. Everything from fresh seafood to pizzerias can be found along this road. Fishing piers and docks provide residents with adventurous outdoor fun as well as access to the preserved wetlands across the river. To get into mainland Florida, residents travel five miles south of town to cross over the river via the Granada Bridge.
