The nearest trailhead takes you to the Table Rock trail system, which starts at the end of the block, and is one of the most popular trails in Boise, offering several routes and options. Head towards downtown, and you are walking/biking distance to Military Reserve park, which offers a slope-style bike park and pump tracks, as well as access to hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails in the main Ridge to Rivers network. At this location, you also have quick and easy access to the Boise River Green Belt, a paved trail network that runs 20 miles along the Boise River, offering lots of lovely river beaches, restaurants, and watering holes. For those traveling with kids, Eagle Rock park is walking distance from the home, and includes a playground, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts, a huge open field, and picnic tables.
