While there is some walkable access locally, having a car makes it more convenient to visit downtown Norfolk, nearby shopping, and regional attractions. Downtown Norfolk and major attractions are about a 15–20 minute drive, offering museums, restaurants, nightlife, and waterfront entertainment. Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) buses serve the area along Ocean View Avenue, providing an affordable way to explore more of the region, though schedules are limited compared to driving. Interstate 64 and local bridges connect you easily to Virginia Beach, Norfolk Naval Base, and other Hampton Roads destinations if you choose to explore further. The beach, fishing pier, and nearby eateries are all within a short walk or quick drive, making it easy to enjoy the best of Ocean View without needing a car for every errand. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM to respect our neighbors. If additional guests are brought beyond original reservation guest total and the host is not notified, the booking will be canceled immediately with no refund and guests will be required to leave the property. Any additional guests over the amount specified in the reservation (or pre-approved by the hosts) will result in a $75 fee per person. Failing to vacate the property by the posted/agreed upon checkout time will result in a $60 per hour (pro rated) late checkout fee.
