About This Home
Featured in “Beautifully Designed Spaces,” this 1930s cottage is a stylish haven in the heart of East Nashville. Renovated in 2019, it is just a few miles from downtown and steps from vibrant coffee shops, bars, and top restaurants. Relax on the expansive outdoor deck, perfect for grilling and alfresco dining, surrounded by a lush yard. Enjoy proximity to Shelby Park and golf course. This gorgeous home is the perfect place to experience Nashville like a local, with the convenience of being only 3 miles away from downtown where you'll find the famous Broadway strip, the Cumberland River, the Ryman Auditorium, and so much more. Staying in East Nashville, you get the true "local experience" without feeling far removed from downtown. The newly renovated space includes 3 bedrooms (two king-size beds and one queen bed) and 3 full bathrooms (walk-in shower in one and shower/tub combos in the others). The main floor consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath. Take the stairs off the kitchen to the amazing master retreat, complete with a workspace and a full-size bath with walk-in shower. Off the living room on the main floor are stairs that will take you down to the lower level basement and to the back apartment where you will find an additional guest space, complete with living room, eat-in kitchenette, bedroom with king-size bed and a full bath. The home also boasts a nice sized backyard with fire pit and relaxing two-level back yard deck with bar and grill. There is a nice long driveway for parking that holds up to four cars. There is an additional $300 fee for guests wanting to book the property for filming and/or photography. A location agreement must be provided prior to your shoot date. Early check-in or late check-outs must be pre-arranged. The only way to guarantee an early check-in is if the night prior to your stay is available, which can be blocked off for you at half the price. The same goes for late check-out. If there is no one booked the night of your check-out date, the night can be blocked off for you for a guaranteed late check-out at half the price. Guests who stay 3 weeks or longer will incur an additional cleaning fee of $135. This is not included in the pricing you see, but will be an additional add-on fee. It's walking distance (8-15 minutes depending on where you want to go) to all the hot spots in East Nashville, yet it's on a really quiet, safe, and private street. The neighborhood consists of young families with babies and families that have lived in their homes for over 40 years. It's 9 miles from the Nashville International Airport (BNA) which is a 15-minute drive. You're a 5-minute walk from a grocery store (Kroger) and 8 minutes from 3 coffee shops: Barista Parlor, Ugly Mugs, and Portland Brew. It's also an 8-minute walk from amazing restaurants like Two Ten Jack, The Silly Goose, The Wild Cow, Eastland Cafe, and Rosepepper. You're a 12-15 minute walk away from the famous 5 points area where all the best East Nashville bars are, festivals and fairs, movies on the grass, more restaurants, and shops. Of course, you can Uber anywhere in East Nashville for whatever the minimum Uber fare could ever be. It's a 6-minute drive to downtown (3.2 miles) and a 15-minute drive to the west side of Nashville (Green Hills, 12th South, West End). No parties allowed. Guests must read and accept house rules before booking. Additional guests outside of your confirmed guest count are not allowed on the property unless pre-approved prior to your stay. There is a zero tolerance policy on the property being used as a "home base" for parties or visitors to come and go. Exterior cameras are installed to verify who is entering the home. If you exceed your confirmed guest count, you will be asked to leave immediately and charged a $500 fine. Upon confirming your booking, you are subject to the House Rules, which includes this disclaimer. While staying, make sure all doors are shut and locked when not in use. Do not leave any valuables in your vehicle if parked on the street. Nashville is a big city so make sure to be vigilant with the property and yours. Because we want to keep our neighbors happy, we have installed exterior security cameras and noise decibel sensors inside the home that will alert us if noise reaches past a certain decibel for a consecutive amount of time. These sensors do not record conversations or audio. They simply detect decibels. Primary Guest must be 21 years or older. Your photo ID information must match the information on your credit card.
