About This Home
Available on February 6, 2026 The bedroom is a good size to begin with, but it has a deep nook in one corner that provides extra space great for a medium refrigerator, armoire, dresser, or just a place to keep your gear for hobbies. By having this extra space for larger items, you have all that extra space for all your other stuff. It also has a big closet, wood floors, shutters, and ceiling fan, but otherwise is unfurnished. You will also have your own PRIVATE BATHROOM directly next to the bedroom. Rent includes the private room, private bathroom, very light kitchen privileges, light laundry privileges, water, electricity, gas, Wi-Fi, trash, and our house cleaner will clean your bathroom once per month. You can pay additional to have your room cleaned once per month if wanted. Plus, you will have access to the community pool and spa. No smoking of any kind, no tobacco use of any kind, no drugs, no excessive alcohol, no firearms, no parties, and no pets. This room for rent is for only ONE PERSON. The lease is Month-to-Month, $1,100 per month, and the security deposit is $1,100. The home is in a quiet complex with friendly neighbors, and an overall great location… with easy access to the 101 freeway, close to restaurants, grocery stores, schools, parks, hiking trails, and the mall. Perfect location for someone who works at Amgen or Los Robles, or goes to school at CLU, Moorpark, CSUCI, or Pepperdine. We grew up in the area and have lived in this house for over 20 years, plus we just remodeled the downstairs, so we don’t have plans on moving anytime soon. We are easy going, clean, don’t have big parties, and don’t have any pets. We work from home and need it to be quiet for conference calls and video meetings, so we need a renter who does not work from home and will not be in the house during most of the day. We’re looking for someone with a full-time job or is a full-time student, who is friendly, ethical, responsible, clean, quiet, and who is going to respect us and our home. Available on February 6, 2024 Please let me know if you have any questions. If you are interested, please email or message me so we can set up a time for you to see the room and fill out the application.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
