Because our short term rentals have been banned in our City we are now looking for a permanent tenant who can live here permanently. The beautiful 5 Star resort, " Terranea" is just 2 minutes away by car. The Terranea Resort was designed as a world-class luxury resort and is set on 102 acres on the beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes Peninsula right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Recently constructed in 2008, this vacation resort features beautifully landscaped grounds, 3 swimming pools, 3 outdoor hot tub spas, a poolside fitness center, and an award-winning spa. There are also 5 restaurants on-site including the five-star Marcel, and the more contemporary Catalina Kitchen and Nelson's Restaurant. The Spa Cafe provides a refreshing break from sport activities, and the Sea Beans Coffee Shop is available for gourmet coffee and breakfast/lunch. We are very pleased to have the resort just a mile away from our home. There is also free parking to the left of the resort where it says beach parking. We are located also close to Many of the Region's major attractions, including Disneyland, Universal Studios, Staples Center/Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and the Getty Museum are within 40 minutes drive. The Queen Mary in Long Beach is only 6 miles away. Wayfarers Chapel is also minutes away from our holiday home. Conveniently located near our holiday home are grocery stores, for food and drink, the Golden Cove Shopping Center that is a few miles north of the rental property. It has a Trader Joe's for buying groceries, or if you prefer to eat out, there are restaurants of various types and costs: The Admiral, Yellow Rose, Alaskan Sushi and Grill, and Swan Thai, Tomatillo. Many of these places have an ocean view. Whether you are on a tight budget or not, one of the best values is the Starbuck's patio. It has one of the best ocean views in the area, along with a fire pit! There are also plenty of shops to visit and a huge shopping Mall in the city of Torrance if you wanted to spend a day there. Trump's 18-hole golf course and movie theaters are minutes away from our rental. A short drive around the peninsula will lead you to other beaches and their cities, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and, Manhattan Beach, where you will find more shopping, restaurants and plenty of nightlife. Just a quick note about our community, our community is extremely quiet, we do not accommodate big wedding parties or celebrations. This is a none smoking property.
