As the hub of one of the largest cities in Arkansas, Downtown Springdale is experiencing a renaissance. The city began here in the 1850s, then called Shiloh. Downtown Springdale is home to the Jones Center, the Arts Center of the Ozarks, the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, the Downtown Springdale Farmers Market, and even free yoga in Shiloh Square. Arvest Ballpark appeals to sports fans, home to the Northwest Arkansas Naturals Minor League Baseball team.
