About This Property
This is a small village cottage, 748 sq ft, with a full unfinished basement with laundry and extra full bath. It has much of the original hardwood flooring from 1933, newly refinished, and walls freshly painted, many new light fixtures, the original windows have been taken apart, cleaned, and reattached, extra insulation has been added to the attic, it has a new furnace, a/c, and roof. It is ready to just move in and enjoy! You can rent it furnished or unfurnished. It has to be a one-year lease minimum per the village. Credit checks and references are required with the application. The owner is a licensed Realtor so there can be no agency representation from the listing agent, strictly a landlord-tenant relationship. A few things to note, it is a great walk-to-town location, but it backs to the E and J train which comes throughout the day and night. It has tiny bedrooms with wardrobe-style closets, but there is plenty of room to store bins of extra clothes in the basement. It is charming and the kitchen has maple cabinets and granite countertops. The fireplace has not been cleaned or checked so I will have to verify if it can be used before the rental period starts. Water and garbage are included with the rent. The storefront attached to the garage is a separate address, 130-please do not disturb the tenants. The one-car garage is old and has no opener so it is only storage to be shared with 130. It's not a fully fenced yard but there's a fence in the back between the yard and the train property. Pets, 1 dog only, will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Only friendly dogs will be allowed.
