About This Property
Spacious three bedroom house one and a half blocks to State Street. This is not your typical downtown Santa Barbara house. With over 1500 square feet inside and sitting on a 6000+ square foot lot, you will feel like you are in your own slice of paradise. Morning sun hits the back patio perfectly to enjoy a cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. This is a house you can really sprawl out in with a large open living room and a picture window looking out onto the tree lined street. Seating for the whole family as well as a sleeper sofa for guests. Since this house was built in 1942, we thought it would be fun to have a record player in the living room as a vintage throw back. We love to meander through the various antique shops just blocks away and pick up old records to play back at the house. The largest bedroom offers a comfy king bed, large sofa for reading or relaxing and and an office just off the bedroom for those of you working from home. There is a also a full bathroom just off the office with a walk in shower. We have two bedrooms just down the hallway, one with a queen bed and one with a bunk bed. The bunk offers a twin on top and a futon on bottom that can be used as a full size bed. Both bedroom are rather large for the age of the home. The second bathroom is located just across the hall from these bedrooms and has a soaking tub as well as a walk in shower. The galley kitchen has been updated with granite counter tops, ample cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling and a beautiful gas oven with center griddle for making meals for the family. While the dining room is on the smaller side, we have outfitted the room with a dining table that can be extended to seat 6. This home is a perfect vacation spot due to the walkable location to so many amazing restaurants, shops and outdoor gems that Santa Barbara has to offer. We do have a 30 day minimum at this home and would be happy to host you! Inquire about longer stays as well if one month is just not enough.
