Inside the modern and updated home, you'll find a comfy living area, a family room with a large flat-screen TV. and a wet bar. The kitchen has modern appliances, and we supply all needed kitchenware. The primary bedroom has en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub and a shower, and the comfy bed is king-sized. The other three bedrooms have equally comfortable beds. Upon entering the home, you'll find yourself in a comfy living area, perfect for having relaxing conversations on the comfy furniture. Further on is the kitchen, with ample counter space and cupboards, modern appliances, and all the dishware and cookware you need to rustle up a fantastic dinner! Next to the kitchen is a sit-down dining area, anchored by an elegant table-and-bench set with seating for 8. Also adjacent is a wet bar and the family room -- also with comfy furniture -- and a large wall-mounted flatscreen TV, perfect for movie nights! This entire area is separated from the backyard by tall windows and doors, giving you a great view of the spacious backyard, along with the pool and gazebo. The pool -- which has a slide and a ball hoop -- stays warm much of the year as long as it's covered when not in use. During the colder months, we can heat it for you, but an extra charge may apply. The gazebo has a fire table, lighting, and chairs -- a great place to wind down the day with a great bottle of local wine. Back in the home, the bedroom wing has four bedrooms. The first is the primary suite, with a king bed, lots of cupboard space, and a flatscreen TV. There is an attached bathroom, with a delightful soaking tub and a shower. The second bedroom has a full-sized bed and walls of purple -- the favorite color of the kid who lives here much of the year! The next bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a work desk, and we can make available a large gaming monitor if needed. The fourth and final bedroom -- which doubles as an office -- has a queen-sized bed and a standing desk with a monitor. There is a common area bathroom with a shower and tub, and the third and final bathroom, next to the laundry area, has a shower. There is also a garage with an EV charger, which you're free to use. Note that the owners live here several months of the year, and so some of the closets are locked off for the owner to store their belongings. There is still plenty of closet space, however! Part of the garage is also taken up by the owners' possessions, but you're free to park one car in the remaining space. Additional cars can be parked in the driveway. The pool does not have a fence, so children under 18 must be supervised. The pool has a sturdy cover, but it may cave in if you walk on it; thus, do *not* consider the cover as a suitable safety device. We will ask you to sign a separate waiver regarding the pool. You'll have full and exclusive access to the home, and you won't be sharing with anyone. The property manager lives about 15 minutes away and is available for any questions. This is a classic Saratoga neighborhood, with a mix of modern and mid-century low-slung homes. Many of the lawns have low-water landscaping. Despite being a quiet neighborhood, major attractions are nearby, like Santana Row and West Valley Mall. San Jose airport is only 20 minutes away, while SFO is 45 minutes. Note that Silicon Valley doesn't have great public transit, so you'll definitely need a car, or use Uber or Lyft. The pool does not have a fence, so children under 18 must be supervised. The pool has a sturdy cover, but it may cave in if you walk on it; thus, do *not* consider the cover as a suitable safety device. We will ask you to sign a separate waiver regarding the pool. Note that the owners live here several months of the year, and so some of the closets and part of the garage are reserved for the owners' belongings. If your preference in vacation rentals is a home dedicated exclusively to guests, with no owner possessions around, then this may not be the home for you. You'll have full and exclusive access to the home, and you won't be sharing with anyone. The property manager lives about 15 minutes away and is available for any questions. We ask for a credit score of at least 720, verifiable income of 3.5X the rent, and a landlord reference. In addition to the rent, we ask for a $450 monthly utility payment to cover electricity, gas, and Internet, with a quarterly true-up of actual costs and $225 per month cleaning fee.
