The Surfrider Beach Apartments is located along the Chesapeake Bay on our private beach. It is located less than 9 miles to ODU, Norfolk Naval Base, Little Creek Naval Base and a 15 minute drive to Downtown Norfolk, Downtown Hampton and the Norfolk International Airport. Three floor plans to choose from. All apartment homes and the exterior have been recently completely renovated. All apartment homes have crown molding, bamboo wood floors, custom tile in kitchens and bathrooms, ceiling fans in every room, and a complete appliance package that includes microwave oven and dishwasher. Energy efficient lights have been added to reduce your energy cost and in order to enjoy the sunshine and see the Chesapeake Bay from yet another spot, full length glass storm doors are also featured. The property has extensive landscaped areas that is professionally designed and maintained. The entire property (parking lot) is also well lit. Other features includes a well-equipped laundry room, large landscaped parking lot, court-yard decks with gazebos as well as a beach front gazebo and beachfront grilling station. This is a well-loved and well-maintained property. Rent includes water, sewer, trash service and monthly pest control. Either one cat or one dog (up to 25 pounds when fully grown) is permitted. The nonrefundable pet fee for a cat is $300 (and $500 for a dog). Monthly pet rent is $25 for a cat and $50 for a dog. Rents with a year's lease is $925 for a 1-bedroom apartment home, $1,100 for a 2-bedroom place and $1,400 for either a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment home facing the Chesapeake Bay. The bay front are luxury apartments that include wrap-around verandas with bay views, window walls so that each room has bay view, stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer and custom wood trim and custom tile work.
