Charming apartment in St Roch near Marigny. Entrance is on the back of the building, providing privacy. The shared yard is a nice oasis that you are free to cultivate if you wish. There is a long raised bed along the right side and plenty of space. The first floor of this two-story unit features a large kitchen with lots of cabinet space and room for a dining table by the window. Laundry room is also on the first floor, with front loading high capacity washer and dryer. Additionally, there is a small coat closet by the entrance. Further storage is available under the stairs that lead up to the second floor. The first floor is tiled and was painted last year. Upstairs you will find original hardwood flooring, which is beautiful but a little uneven. The second floor has two rooms, each with a small closet. Use one as a bedroom and the other as a living room or office. The second floor also has the bathroom with a lovely Clawfoot tub. Rent includes utilities (water, sewer, gas, trash, electric). The location is an easy walk to Frenchmen Street or long walk to the French Quarter. There are lots of local restaurants and attractions in St Roch and Marigny as well.
