About This Property
Hey there- 1 large/bright bedroom in a 2-bedroom house available immediately for $800/month + $800/deposit ($1,600 at time of lease signing due unless prorated for first month occupancy.) All bills paid, including water/gas/electric/high-speed WiFi & yard maintenance, and off-site parking. The house is shared with one other person, John (he/him, early 40s). The house is managed off-site by the homeowner, Ren (she/her, early 40s), who often travels out of town and is no longer "based" in this home. Ren and John are longtime friends-- any questions or requests will be efficiently addressed by one or the other. Our home is eclectic, kind, irreverent toward ideologies yet respectful of people. Mutual consideration and proactive communication are important to us. Pets are welcome for visits but not to stay. Non-tobacco-smoking preferred but not a deal-breaker as long as you leave no trace with outdoor smoking. We keep it tidy while full of curiosities. Music of all kinds, cooking experiments, and small get-togethers now and then, which you might join as well- With those norms in mind, all self-identities and personalities are welcome to apply. We're situated in Riverview, just south of downtown [Note- Map shows area much farther west than us]. It's mostly quiet except for the Cry Baby Hill races during Tulsa Tough and other neighborhood happenings like Greek Fest. The room available is bright, set in the SW corner, and around 13' x 15'. The walls are deep blue and pale grey. It comes with a walk-in closet and is furnished with a long table for sunning plants if you'd like to keep it?? One door opens to the kitchen, and in turn, to the back yard for a semi-private // back-door entrance. The other leads to a hallway with a full bath featuring an insulated bathtub and a standing shower ?? Further down is a lovely "parlor room" for reading, working out, music, and creative projects ????? A large front porch opens to a living + dining room with plenty of seating, desks, and a record player ?? The basement includes a W/D, with clotheslines in the backyard. There are a few small gardens in the front, back, and side if you're inclined to grow or farm ?? The house is fully furnished. There's no additional room for big furniture, kitchen equipment, electronics, etc. We don't have a TV or cable, although WiFi-connected gadgets abound. (If you want to set yourself up with cable stuff, we're open to that, but this cost will not be included in // covered by monthly rent.) We have a long driveway for you to park in off-street and on-street parking is usually not an issue. Inquiries will be received by Ren, who'll coordinate with John for showings. Please say a few words about yourself and why our home sounds like a match. We look forward to hearing from you and connecting if this is your dream house, as it is ours. Cheers, John & Ren

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
