This furnished cottage is nestled among the oaks and pines on beautiful 2nd Crow Wing lake on the eastern edge of the Hubbard Prairie located approximately 15 miles from Park Rapids, Nevis, and Menahga. The main floor is tiled with a full kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink) and a 1/2 bathroom as well as a small living room with a couch and a TV with DVD player. A sliding door opens up to the 1/2 bathroom that has a shower and sink. Climb up the home-made ladder to the overhead loft that serves as the bedroom (one full and one twin bed), which overlooks the lake. The loft has wood floors and a knotty pine ceiling that gives the place real northern Minnesota appeal! And what could be more charming than a fully functional outhouse! That's right - this place has no indoor toilet (although the loft has a portable toilet). Outhouse has cedar siding inside and out, insulated, has a baseboard heater, and even has a working sauna stove if you are so inclined (we recommend, we've used it many many times especially in the winter!). Walk out the front door and down the steps right to the shores of 2nd Crow Wing Lake! Sorry, no dishwasher, washer or dryer. No smoking. Non-refundable fee of $50 per month per pet.
