About This Home
This unit is almost done being built, hoping to have ready by June 1st. This is a tiny home (300 square feet) that is on the west side, close to mission street for easy bus access. There is street parking (permits are $30 a year). It is 1 bedroom and bath and is 30’ by 10’ wide. Because of this I would recommend for 1 person, but can fit two. Bedroom can fit a queen, though for more space a full is recommended. Everything is brand new, unit has a split unit in the main living area, fan in bedroom. TV wall mounts are in bedroom and living area. Solar with backup battery included. This unit is one of three on the property, though each unit has its own water and electricity meters meters and tenants pay for their own utilities, including watering plants in front of their units (set up on drip system, but are drought resistant plants that should be established soon). Gardener is included and comes 2 times a month. Secured bike rack behind gate. Sorry, no pets or smoking on property.

Westside Santa Cruz is a thriving commercial district home to some of the best shops, restaurants, and business right outside of the Bay Area. The southern tip of the neighborhood sits closest to the shore and consists of a wide range of apartment styles. Head to Swift Street to find trendy restaurants, shops, and breweries in and around the Swift Street Courtyard, or travel along Mission Street for more great shopping and dining opportunities. Front Street, located right outside of the neighborhood west of Swift Street, has countless stores and eateries like the Cooperhouse Shopping Center and San Lorenzo Park Plaza Shopping Center.
Shopping and dining aren’t the only attractions of Westside. Part of the neighborhood is located on the coast, so beaches and greenspaces are abundant. Check out Natural Bridges State Park, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, and Wilder Ranch State Park for a plethora of outdoor adventures.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
