About This Property
Property Id: 1411979 This lovely casita is part of the Dunleavy-Berry House property on the National Historic Register. Built in 1904, it's a part of SantaFe history, as the 1st house built with materials brought in on the new railroad. It's a 10-minute walk to both the historic Santa Fe Plaza and Canyon Road. The casita was recently completely remodeled, with an eye to preserve the history, while adding modern living touches (like the fastest wifi in town). There is a shared bricked patio with landscape lighting and two fountains built from antique and locally sourced materials. There is a large stainless gas grill with bonus burners on the back patio. The property sleeps 5 with a King bed, a queen pull out, and a padded banco. We've lovingly restored this property to be for transitions to a permanent move to Santa Fe, skiing, legislative or holiday seasons, balloon fiesta, Zozobra, sabbaticals, and others who would like to experience authentic history, best of what Santa Fe has to offer!

Santa Fe is a blend of the cultures that established the area. In this city, the Old West meets Native American, Spanish, and Mexican cultures. The locals are passionate about art, history, and active lifestyles, with all three easily accessible from anywhere in town. The center of it all is the Santa Fe Plaza, where you can shop, visit art galleries, grab a quick bite to eat, or just sit in the sun.
This historic city is packed full of traditions and excitement. The Burning of Zozobra, also known as Old Man Gloom, is one of the city’s favorite traditions that takes place in September each year. More than 50,000 people turn out each year to cheer on the burning and take part in the festivities. Year-round fun is provided by the countless museums, breweries, delicious restaurants, and shopping destinations scattered throughout town.
