About This Property
Kick off your shoes in this cozy, newly renovated cottage in Southampton Cove, a quiet gem of a neighborhood only minutes from Southampton Village. Decorated in a laid-back, bohemian beach style, this is the perfect place to relax. The house sits across the street from peaceful Fish Cove in a very quiet neighborhood with no through traffic - great for families. Ample oak trees provide lots of shade for those hot days. High ceilings, wide plank wood floors, white walls and glass doors open on to a spacious deck which steps down to a very large yard with water views giving the cottage a breezy, open feeling. The first floor has a kitchen, open living and dining area, two guest bedrooms with queen beds, full bath (with deep soaking tub) and laundry. A private, enclosed outdoor shower is a big bonus for sandy kids or adults who love to see the sky while scrubbing up! The second floor has two guest rooms (one with a twin trundle bed, one with a full bed) separated by an additional loft area for lounging. Within 1 mile you'll find Towd Point Beach (a gorgeous bay beach with spectacular sunsets), a full service marina, a deli, three restaurants and a family-run farm stand in operation since 1945. You don't have to go far to have a great time. But if you want to venture out, it's just a 5-mile drive to world class shopping, restaurants and pristine ocean beaches in Southampton Village and an 8-mile drive to the charming seaside village of Sag Harbor..

Southampton, NY sits at the edge of the Atlantic on Long Island's South Fork, where salt air and crashing waves define this storied Hamptons village that has drawn New Yorkers east for generations. Founded in 1640 by settlers from Lynn, Massachusetts—making it one of New York State's oldest English settlements—Southampton balances lively Main Street lined with art galleries, boutique shops, and coffeehouses with stretches of open shoreline and quieter residential neighborhoods. While beaches draw summer crowds, the village maintains an intentional, relaxed pace year-round, with preserved architecture reflecting its deep community roots. The rental market favors cottage-style homes and smaller apartment communities over high-rises, preserving the town's low-density character. Whether seeking a studio or multi-bedroom rental, options move quickly given Southampton's enduring appeal as a place where downtown energy meets coastal tranquility.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
