This serene spot is filled with natural light from large, garden-facing windows with a view of lots of greenery. Features: - Gas stove and oven - Dishwasher - Fridge - Radiant floor heating (so cozy!) - Ceiling fan - Use of shared hot tub and gas grill - Space for one bike/scooter in locked bike shed (with spot for charging) - Surf board storage space behind the unit or in secluded garden The cottage is unfurnished (all furniture in photos belongs to current tenant). The entryway access is through the main yard and the gate is shared with the main house. The owners live on site. We are looking for someone who is responsible and quiet. We're respectful of privacy while being really easy to reach. We are pretty laid back during the week and like to spend time outdoors on the weekends. There is no laundry on site, but there is a laundromat one block away. Street parking available with city permit ($30/yr). It is generally easy to find parking. Sorry, no pets. We have an elderly cat. He's a sweetheart with humans. You might see him lounging in the sun. Location: Central Westside. The neighborhood is very walkable. It's 1 mile from the ocean, 1 mile from UCSC, 4 blocks to grocery stores, 1 block from bus stops, and walking distance to numerous restaurants and coffee shops. Short bike ride to West Cliff, beaches, downtown, and parks. Westside Santa Cruz is a thriving commercial district home to some of the best shops, restaurants, and business right outside of the Bay Area.
