About This Property
This home is immaculate. The large back yard is no exception. The park-like setting is gorgeous. Following the blooming trees in Spring and Autumn and the beautiful foliage to a natural bubbling spring. One of only three natural springs located in this city I am told. See the groundhog and deer in the photos? They stop by for a drink from the spring! There is no fencing in this lawn. All appliances in this home are two years old. Top of the line stackable washer/dryer, diswasher, refridgerator, stove...all perfect. The bathroom is one of a kind. It is custom tiled with a jetted tub. Ceiling fans are in each bedroom and living room. All on dimmer switches. There is dry crawlspace storage below the back portion of the house. A backyard shed has been newly added! It is completely stocked. A gas mower, cordless hedge trimmer, cordless weed-eater and yard tools are there for your convenience. The off street parking area by the kitchen porch has been newly paved since these photos were taken. You won't find another rental in town in this condition. The home is not furnished. Photos show various ideas for furniture placement. I would love to place a tenant long-term. You can be in your beautiful new home for Christmas! Move in today! Established in 1942 by the United States Government, Oak Ridge was formed to be the site of the Manhattan Project—the secret World War II program that developed the atomic bomb—and the home base for the tens of thousands who worked on the project, along with their families. Oak Ridge, sometimes referred to as “The Secret City” and “The Atomic City,” became an independent city in 1959. Oak Ridge honors its past with the Manhattan Project National Historical Park, the American Museum of Science and Energy, and the annual Secret City Festival held each June.
Located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, Oak Ridge offers residents plenty of options for outdoor recreation. The 173-mile-long Melton Hill Lake is a popular destination for rowing, boating, and fishing. Oak Ridge’s 12 scenic greenways and 16 beautiful parks offer ample space for a broad range of land-based activities. Quick access to I-40, I-75, and the Oak Ridge Turnpike connects the city to nearby Knoxville and beyond.
