About This Home
Historic cottage in Louisa County, Virginia c. 1810. One bedroom tiny home that works great as a artist or musician retreat or for a couple. Located on a 500 acre working farm. Cats ok, dogs ok (no fenced yard---must walk and pick up after pets). Property overlooks a duck pond with hiking trail. This dwelling is close to other tenanted buildings on a working beef cattle farm. Location is about 40-45 minutes from Charlottesville off of the Zions Crossroads exit on interstate 64. The cottage is on the Historic Registry and therefore it has it's charms & foibles. The ceiling on the second floor lofted bedroom area is low in keeping with the time period. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washer dryer, stove and refrigerator. We are happy to set up a time to view the property. If you turn out to be interested, the next step is a $45 application fee that includes a rental history and background check. Well water included. Central air and heat but heating and cooling can run a little high because of the historic property designation. Thank you for your interest in this unique property.
