The McFate Building was built in 1924 by H.C. Davis and named by Bud and Maura Dingman in 2002 for Bud's McFate family roots. The building is an up/down duplex (and always was), consisting of two bedrooms, a formal dining and living room, eat in kitchen with dishwasher, gas stove and plenty of cabinet storage. The kitchen opens onto a sleeping porch and the living room opens onto a full front porch with great views of Holliday Park and the Topeka High Tower. Each apartment has its own washer and dryer located in the basement of the building.
