The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at 1112 Locust
I really enjoyed living at 1112. The apartments are modern with high ceilings, giving them a spacious feel. The location is great. Close to the downtown scene, yet far enough away to remain peaceful and quiet. The added security is also a big plus. Maintenance requests were handled quickly, and I never experienced any major issues. Friends were always able to find parking in the area also.:)
1112 Locust is a great place to live, it is super a convenient. Close to Pine Ave, right next to a grocery store, next to public transit, and yet still close to the 405. The community of the building is great, everyone says hello and looks out for one another. Also Hector is always on top of any requests or issues. Finally, building management is super easy to communicate with and on top of any issues or concerns.
I've been living here at 1112 for about two years now and I've never had an issue. Danny, the leasing agent, is amazing to work with, has been super helpful and friendly from the start. I've been able to switch parking spots so easily and the property manager is always fast at fixing my maintenance requests. The management also always keeps the building here so clean which is super important for me. *Please take those negative reviews here with a GRAIN OF SALT. Those complaints are very far and few- we have a community group chat and most of the tenants here do not agree with that. While I respect that everyone's experience may be different, those complaints come across as a huge surprise to me. I've never experienced a single package getting stolen, have never had my car broken into, and no noise complaints from me or my neighbors. There was a garage complaint a while back, but since then the management replaced the garage door with a new one almost immediately. Safety is also never a concern - they have a full-time security guard who is on shift from 6pm-6am every night. This shows how much the management cares about tenants - I actually used to live in Culver City next to the Equinox (to no surprise, I saw homeless people all the time there) and there was no security guard there. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone moving to LB. There are many other tenants I know here that have been staying at 1112 for over two years now and they love it! I'm definitely not leaving this apartment anytime soon
I’ve just renewed my lease for another year at 1112 for a studio and had to comment after seeing other reviews I just couldn’t agree with. Finding an apartment with in unit laundry, enclosed parking, AC, and allows pets has been a dream. Like with every apartment complex, I’ve had some Maintence needs however management was quick to respond and followed up with me immediately. I love to have my friends and family over to use the rec room (there’s a pool table!) and the gym has been really nice to use as they have a surprising variety of options for machines. It’s become a home for me and my dog and I recommend checking it out :)
Definitely recommend Eleven1112 for its very close proximity to Downtown Long Beach. Super convenient that there’s a grocery store right next door. We had an amazing view of downtown up on the 5th floor. I was close to work and took the LBT! 1st & Pine is a nice 1-mile walk, and Shoreline Village is half a mile more. So convenient that LBT Passport bus has a stop near the apartment too. On-site staff was very helpful and friendly. Shout out to Hector, one of the best property managers I’ve had during our time of stay there. Shout out to Danny also who made our move-in seamless. He was helpful when I needed assistance with parking. There are definitely nuances that come with living in the downtown area of the city, like noise from folks working and unhoused folks in the area - even though I’ve not had any problems directly. As with anything, make sure to visit the surrounding area. Had to leave the apartment just because we were lucky enough to be able to buy a home.
