About This Home
This charming, "treehouse" was lovingly constructed by a local father/son team of craftsmen builders in 2020. It is now available for that special someone who is eager to explore all that charming Black Mountain has to offer. Modern kitchen appliances and sleek quartz countertops. Full-sized washer and dryer. Tastefully turnkey furnished, with a leather sleeper sofa in the living room for relaxing. Beautiful vinyl plank flooring stretches end-to-end. Tongue -in-groove pine paneling covers all the walls and ceilings. The screened and covered porch was made for lounging and for viewing the Seven Sisters mountain range. Bali black-out shades in the bedroom make for relaxing nights. Ceilings fans in every room cool the warmest days. Super-convenient location in charming Black Mountain. The myriad of downtown restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Head north a block and encounter one of Black Mountain's favorite attractions - the half-mile walking path around Lake Tomahawk. Or, indulge in your favorite sport - tennis, pickle-ball, basketball, and soccer courts and fields are just across the street. The 65-foot graveled landscape walkway from the parking pad to the cabin terminates in a broad 12-step stairway to the porch entrance. From its perch, the porch beckons you to leave your cares and concerns below and beyond. Because this is a newer cabin, we are committed to finding that SPECIAL SOMEONE who will lovingly care for it. For that reason we cannot accept smoking, either inside or outside, and would prefer no pets, but would consider a well-behaved, non-barking dog. The cabin is TURNKEY FURNISHED - right down to the linens and silverware. To avoid wear and tear, we would prefer someone who could stay for at least six months. The rental rate is $1,985 per month with a $700 returnable security deposit. ALL UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED, including lawn care, so you can avoid the hassle of utility hook-ups and deposits. If you are a first-class person looking for a first-class home, let's talk!

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
