About This Home
This is a 2 story traditional home built in a style very indicative of 1925 in a 'mill' town which Westbrook was for many years. The mill no longer employees thousands of single men and the town has become a bedroom community to Portland. Many homes that had only one floor for living quarters and the entire second floor as 'attic' space, have been converted to accommodate families. This home is no exception. The ground floor has a mudroom/laundry room with the FL1 bathroom behind it. From there one enters the spacious eat in kitchen. Through the kitchen we enter the small dining room which has the FL1 Mid bedroom off to the left. Passing through the dining room, entering the hallway with 3 way lighting and the beautiful open front staircase at the bottom of which we find the FL1 Front bedroom and the front door to the house. At the top of the stairs is a storage closet to the left, the FL2 bathroom directly in front, and all three bedroom entrances to the right. A slight right enters you into the short hallway to the FL2 Room 5, more to the right enters directly into FL2 Room 4, and a sharp right enters to the FL2 Room 3. Each room is individually keyed for your comfort and security.
