(843) 640-0897 - 11 Marion Street - Welcome to our little piece of Charleston charm that is your oasis from home for monthly rentals. This historic single home has two piazza's, a large backyard, and is minutes to King Street, Colonial Lake, MUSC, College of Charleston, and all of the sites in our beautiful city. Originally built in 1835, the house boasts four original fireplaces, wide-plank heart pine floors, four bedrooms with loads of light. Come and enjoy for 30 days or more to work remotely in the Holy City. The living room is perfect for relaxing and enjoying TV. Off the living room you will find the kitchen which features stainless steel appliances, white cabinets, and a Keurig coffee machine. There is an adorable breakfast nook connected to the kitchen which features seating for 5! There also is a full bathroom on this level. At the front of the house on the first floor is a large room that can double as a home office or another bedroom with a trundle that has two twin beds. The remaining three bedrooms are on the second floor. These include one room with a King size bed, and two rooms with queen beds. There is a small full bathroom off of the room with the King size bed, and a large full bathroom in the hallway just outside the other two bedrooms. The washer/dryer are also located on this level for convenience! Truly enjoy this Charleston style home on one of the two piazzas or the large backyard! The second floor piazza has a spacious seating area and a swinging bench and the backyard has a dining table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The home comes with enough off-street parking for 2 cars stacked, so parking is not an issue. Guests are also welcome to use the bicycles that are locked on the piazza! *Pets can be negotiated with a pet fee* The Neighborhood - Radcliffborough Radcliffborough is a residential neighborhood with a lively dining scene on Upper King Street, offering Italian eateries, upscale American grills, and homey seafood restaurants. The surrounding streets are a buzz with hip cocktail bars and taverns, popular with local MUSC medical students and young professionals. The 19th-century Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul are home to choral recitals. Other things to note: Our Housekeeping Team members clean and sanitize all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants we use should remove 100 percent of the microscopic organisms on surfaces, and effectively stop the spread of disease and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility. There is no evidence to suggest that this particular coronavirus will survive the wash chemistry and temperatures in the wash and dry process. All soiled linens are treated as if they are contaminated. Our housekeeping staff is trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of coronavirus.
