Located about a mile directly south of Downtown Rochester, South Wedge is one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods. South Wedge is home to two historic districts and was once home to several historical figures including Frederick Douglass and jazz legend Cab Calloway. Today, South Wedge is one of Rochester’s trendiest enclaves.
