The home boasts a fully stocked kitchen equipped with everything you need, from cookware to coffee makers and a breakfast nook, as well as a kitchenette in the downstairs suite. Multiple decks offer outdoor dining, lounge furniture, an outdoor propane grill, a hot tub, and stunning canyon views. Ask about our add-ons including early check-in, late check-out, Pack 'n Play Crib, beach wagon, surf and boogie boards, pets policy, and car rentals to save the hassle of the rental agency. Carport with EV charger and free street parking are available with no restrictions for convenient parking. Feel free to charge your car on non-peak hours only (11 pm-7 am), and you will be charged based on kilowatt hours used. Peak hours (7 am to 11 pm) will incur the kilowatt time plus a $30 fee per use. Pets are welcome with a $100 fee per pet per stay. All pets must be declared, and undeclared pets (including ESAs) will incur a $200 fee per pet. Experience the best of San Diego within minutes: 5 minutes to Downtown, Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter, and San Diego Zoo, 10 minutes to beaches including Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, and Pacific Beach, and 15 minutes to La Jolla Cove and UCSD. The neighborhood is both peaceful and central, with Trader Joe’s, Ralphs, and local coffee shops within walking distance. Biking and scootering are easy with rental options nearby. This charming historic home includes stairs both inside and out, best suited for guests who are comfortable with them. Filming or production work is allowed with an additional fee. Shoes off upon entry, quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m., and no parties allowed. Undeclared guests will be charged $65 per person if not disclosed. Smoking indoors will incur a $200 charge. No unlawful use of the home is permitted. Do not unplug, tamper with, or cover any Wi-Fi, outdoor security cameras, or locks, as fees will apply. Use coasters under all glasses, cups, or mugs to prevent water rings and stains, and trivet mats for hot pots to prevent heat damage to surfaces. Garbage disposal should not include metal, plastic, egg shells, grease, potato peels, bones, coffee grounds, pasta, or celery. If it stops working, press the small red button under the sink or use an Allen wrench to free it up. Gardeners clean the yard every other Friday at 9 am. Trash and recycling should be put out on the curb on Wednesday nights for Thursday morning pickup. For monthly guests, there is a utility cap of $350, and guests will be responsible for any overages. The home is equipped with blazing-fast Wi-Fi for remote work, a smart TV with all the popular streaming options, and an office nook with a dedicated workspace and motorized desk. A laptop computer is not included.
