Outdoors, enjoy a pool and a cozy patio surrounded by nature, where iguanas and lizards may occasionally appear. Three parking spaces are available per reservation at the property. Extra cars can park at 1060 Tyler St, ensuring no driveways are blocked. Pets are allowed for an extra $150 fee. The mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Florida State Heritage Register, has hosted numerous special events, including the weddings of two of Mr. Young’s sons. In addition to building the City of Hollywood, Young also developed Port Everglades and served as Hollywood’s first mayor. This home’s rich history and timeless elegance make it an extraordinary venue for any occasion. The property is over 100 years old, and while renovations continue, you may notice some stains and paint issues. The doors are a bit old and might not fully close. The owner resides inside the property, so keep in mind this is a shared space. Check-in is any time after 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. A late check-out without authorization will lead to a night-rate cost penalty. Parties are fully prohibited, with quiet time from 10 PM to 6 AM. There is a $300 penalty for smoking on the property, and you will be dismissed from your rental without a refund. A $250 penalty applies if noise levels, parties, or other obscene behavior require a police callout, and you will be dismissed from the property without a refund. A $100 penalty applies for leaving trash outside the entrance. Once your trash cans are full, please deposit trash in the large trash cans located at the building entrance. A $200 fine applies for leaving the kayaks on the pool; kindly return them to the designated place. Avoid throwing trash, paper towels, or toilet paper in the toilet to prevent clogging, and use the trash can instead. Damage to the interior of the property or common areas will result in a pro-rated auto-chargeback from your booking account.
