Established around 1820, the small settlement was first known as Wattsville. This event includes livestock, agricultural, and horse shows, fine arts, events, midway rides and games, live concerts, fireworks, and other entertainment. Perry's attractive downtown features brick-paved sidewalks, shade trees, and benches. The historic architecture contains a variety of charming boutiques, antique stores, gift shops, and restaurants.
