About This Home
This is our family’s first home and we now rent it out after relocating out of state for work. We are not a corporate rental company and we strive to be helpful and reasonable landlords. This is a Historic and updated row house on Capitol Hill 2+ bed/ 1.5 bath. The master bedroom has room for a California King bed and the second bedroom, while smaller, has room for a queen. There is a nursery off the Master bedroom that could serve as a large closet or small office. There are tons of built in bookcases and a huge built-in wardrobe unit in the master bedroom. The house has had many upgrades in the past 5 years including mini-split heating and air conditioning, a remodeled kitchen with high end appliances, a full size washer and dryer. Location: Centrally located on 8th St NE between Lincoln Park and the US Capitol Building, one block north of East Capitol Street. It is a short walk to both Eastern Market and Union Station Metros as well as the House, Senate and Supreme Court buildings. You are a quick walk to all the Hill has to offer. We allow pets on a case by case basis.

While Capitol Hill may conjure images of national landmarks and policymaking, it’s also one of the largest and oldest residential neighborhoods in D.C. Rowhouses of various styles and periods sit along tree-lined streets in Capitol Hill, as well as several apartment buildings and condominiums. Known for its walkability, Capitol Hill is teeming with community gardens and local parks, including Stanton Park and Garfield Park, in addition to all kinds of international cuisine. The historic Eastern Market and Barracks Row offer a wide range of culinary delights and shopping opportunities.
Capitol Hill is convenient to multiple Metro stations, I-695, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, allowing residents simple commutes and travels.
