You will love this incredible location in the heart of activity- only a 1/2 mile walk to dining or entertainment on the square in downtown Georgetown, a 1/4 mile walk to the endless San Gabriel trail with hiking, swimming, frisbee golf, playgrounds, fishing, volleyball, pickleball and a huge dog park right from your doorstep that takes you all the way to Lake Georgetown! Enjoy your all inclusive relaxing staycation in a fantastic neighborhood. We cover everything- bills, internet, lawn care, pest control and tv with chromecast so you can stream straight from your phone. This home has a great open living space with the 3rd bedroom and 1/2 bath downstairs. Upstairs, the master features a super comfy king bed with master bath. The second bed room with high quality queen bed for a great night sleep. A reading nook and guest bath separate the upstairs bedrooms in the middle. The master is towards the front and over the living room. The guest bedrooms are towards the back. This home sleeps and dines 6 comfortably but could hold 7. The kitchen is stocked for up to 8 guests. The storage shed in backyard is a great size and available for your storage needs. Our homes are well equipped with pretty much anything you might need, but feel free to reach out about an item to double check. We have many favorites that are walkable! Brookwood in Georgetown for lunch and boutique shopping for a great cause, Golden Rule, Monument Cafe, El Monumento, Wildfire, Barrels & Amps, 600 Degrees Pizzeria, Blue Corn Harvest, Sweet Lemon Kitchen, District 6, Kork Wine Bar & Pizza and many more... Live music can be found most nights of the week! Here are some of our favorites: Roots has open mic night every Wednesday starting at 7pm and one of our neighbors typically performs You will find performances on the courthouse lawn most weekend nights. Walk, bike or drive to the Georgetown Recreation Center for weights, exercise classes, indoor jogging trail, large indoor swimming pool , pickleball and more. Georgetown is just 27 miles from Austin and it is home to Southwestern University, the oldest university in the state. Settled in the 1840s, Georgetown has a distinctive Victorian charm from its town square to its historic homes.
And while the brilliant red poppies make the landscape, well, pop, Georgetown isn’t just pretty. Residents enjoy amazing destinations like Blue Hole Park, home to a swimming lagoon surrounded by limestone bluffs. When they want a little culture, they head to Georgetown Arts Center, located in a historic firehouse. Shopping and dining takes on a whole new charm when enjoying both in the historic town square.
