Grafton area parks (Lime Kiln; 1 Mi & Veteran Memorial; 4 Mi) and just a hop, skip and a jump away is the picturesque Port Washington (3 Mi) on the shoreline near one of the deepest parts of Lake Michigan, great beaches, lakeside parks, the Lion's Den nature sanctuary and a concrete pier walk to its lighthouse. Charming Cedarburg with eclectic downtown area is also just a short drive away. Outdoorsman will appreciate the Theresa wildlife refuge and the Horicon Marsh which are both less than an hour by car. Grafton is far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle of inner-city life but and close enough (appx 20 miles) to all things Milwaukee where it is easy to take advantage of all Milwaukee has to offer without a higher cost of living. Known as the Brew City, Milwaukee is home to some of the nation's best breweries, a trend that's spreading nationwide.
