The fully stocked kitchen includes a blender, drip coffee machine with grinder, Keurig machine, cake mixer, pots, pans, oven, serving trays, crockpot, rice maker, dishwasher, toaster, toaster oven, oven, stove, and refrigerator with filtered drinking water and ice maker. Dining and entertaining spaces include a dining table with seating for up to 10 guests, a spacious kitchen island perfect for cooking and socializing, a built-in breakfast nook with seating for 6, and an enclosed patio area ideal for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails while overlooking breathtaking sound sunsets. We welcome dogs only for a fee of $150 per pet per stay, with a maximum of 3 dogs, each weighing up to 50 lbs. A pet fee will be applied to cover the cleaning of pet hair, and if any waste beyond hair is found, an additional cleaning fee of $200 will be charged. Cleaning up after your pet is your responsibility, and pets should not be left unattended in the home. No dogs are allowed in the pool. Additional pet fees plus tax will be processed through our guest portal after your reservation is confirmed. The pool requires a lot of electricity to heat, so using this will incur a daily fee of $100 plus tax. This will be billed prior to your arrival if you request it, and we need at least 4 days to heat the pool. The pool is closed and covered seasonally from November to March. Duck Blind shares driveway access with a neighboring property, so guests are kindly asked to park in the designated driveway closest to the home and to be respectful of neighbors. A digital guidebook will be provided upon confirming your booking, including detailed property information, instructions for using amenities like the infinity pool, hot tub, sauna, and game room, and local recommendations for restaurants, activities, and must-visit spots in Duck. Duck is home to midges, tiny seasonal bugs that are harmless but can appear in large numbers. To keep them out, keep doors closed as much as possible and turn off outdoor lights at night. Bug spray is recommended for enjoying the deck and pool areas. Additionally, snakes from the nearby marsh can occasionally be spotted.
