Furnished 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home in a quiet neighborhood in the Arlington School District in Poughkeepsie from August 15, 2022- August 15, 2023 (some flexibility in the dates - the house is available August 1). The house sits on an idyllic .7 acre lot with a pleasant deck, old growth trees, flowering shrubs, and a vegetable garden. Both bathrooms are newly renovated. The house has beautiful original hardwood floors, a front sitting room next to a large bay window as well as a downstairs TV room, and three bedrooms with ample space (one queen, one with a twin on the floor where our son sleeps, and one that we use as an office but that has a trundle bed with two twins). There is also a downstairs office space in the TV room (so the house has two office spaces, which we've put to good use during the pandemic!).
The house also has central air conditioning, with newly installed windows throughout that make it cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. The location is ideal. It's an easy walk to a playground as well as the Dutchess rail trail, a five minute drive to Adam's Farms as well as Stop and Shop, Walgreens and CVS, Arlington Liquor, etc., while still being in a very quiet inlet with a large, private backyard (with a grill, fire pit, and plenty of lawn furniture for your use as well). It's a ten minute drive to the Poughkeepsie train station, and 1.5 hours by car to NYC (depending on where you're going of course). There is an attached garage with space for one car, and a long driveway with devoted spaces for at least two more.
$3000/month does not include utilities which will be billed separately (we can either show the receipts, or put them in your name for the year), nor does not include lawn care or snow removal (which we can, however, help you arrange).
If you have any questions, please let me know! We can't allow pets due to allergies in the family, and there's no smoking in the house. If you are a family with a baby, there are some things available for your use (mini crib, changing table, play mat, etc).
