I absolutely love living here. It's beautiful. Ithe office staff is great, the neighbors are quite and don't you. Their is a lot to do here, they have a playground for kids, a pool to cool off in on a hot day, game room for kids, and an excuse room

Staff is nice maintenance is pretty good but the roaches are really bad. Lots of gaps in the cabinets, walls & floorboards for them to come in & hide.

I do not like it here and property maintenance is not very good. For how much I pay each month I really expected a better quality of place. There is always trash and dog poop in the grass outside of my apartment. I'm sick of it.

I quite enjoy living here, i don’t have a problem with the community and the location is really good for my job. i also see the new management putting in the effort to making this place top notch! my only complaint would be that my dishwasher constantly floods and we have seen some pest here and there, but i know those are issues that are getting worked on.

We've been here a year and it doesn't get better! Move in date was a lie, and nobody communicated this to us. So after we showed up with all our stuff in a u haul we couldn't move in because no-one was at the office. There VM is always full. So on a Saturday we had ll our stuff in a truck we couldn't move in! Then we finally get to move in 2 weeks later! After getting in, our cabinets look like crap. They painted over everything, literally! Pills on fire place with the landlord special on top! Our kitchen was flooded, our DW broken, broken glass and beer bottles all around the neighborhood. Our next door neighbor still has a shotgun shell in the dirt. We leave it there to see how long it takes for anyone else to recognize! Maintenence shows up quickly but nothing really fixed, just Jerry rigged. Pool is always going under repair. Gun shots across the street every other week. And the mngmnt sucked. We try to deal with them as little as possible as they have there minds made up before u even ask a question. Save ourself, shop else where. I truly believe the 5 star ratings are from bots and fake accounts to skew the numbers. Everyone here in the neighborhood I talk to says this place is 1 step above homeless! They had painters outside and they got sticky residue all over our car! The car wash into get it off so now I have to pay someone to remove it from my car! This place is a disaster to ur mental health and wallet!

Update ***** This is the worse move experience I have ever had. We are brand new Tennants, and out of the gate leftside of the stove does not work, the kitchen sink has no hot water, the closet. light that we asked them to fix before the move in, is still broken, the shower/tub upstairs does not work, closet doors are still broken, maintenance does not fix anything even if u put a request in. The property manager does not communicate well with their staff, and the staff does not communicate well with the tenants. All they offer for our grief is empty apologies. As i said before they are very incompetent you have to micro-manage the office to get anything done. If this is what they call "ready" then they have very very low standards and u would not recommend anyone to move here. ****** We were scheduled to move in today, but their office is closed. No one emailed or reached out by phone letting us know it would be closed, or to make other arrangements to have everything set up. Very unprofessional.

I was moving across country to Nashville and unable to view an apartment before my move...The staff was very accommodating in setting up a virtual tour of the apartment that I am renting so I can get an idea of what it looked like. The office has been extremely helpful to work with. Property seems to be pretty well maintained and I enjoy the Valet Trash Service.

This place has no respect for you or your living space. They will enter your apartment any time they want. I had to call police a number of times because of safety. Management is rude to you and will be deceitful. Not worth it. I regret wasting a year at this place. If I could get away with giving this place zero stars, I would.

I came into the office today completely upset about apartment hunting in general. i Spoke with a lovely young lady name Dana , who is just AMAZING do you hear me AMAZING. I was like in a rush like i been the the procedure here is my license ,give me quote and let me view the apartment and go. Oh noo honey she was like well calm down sweetie, i always like to get to know the future tenants what do you expect out of an apartment. I told her , she inform me of the info i needed assuring that everything that i mention they are always on top of it. She took me a view a one bedroom , living room was a little smaller than what o was expecting, but the room was very spacious. I think i am more of an entertainer so i kinda needed more living room space than bedroom space, but that does not mean i am taking this off my list. She also showed me a two bedroom which i would consider once i had a little more income coming in. I set my my move in date for the end of March beginning April, so whatever God see me to have i will have. I just had to share my experience , Thanks again.

The office staff have been entirely unprofessional on many occasions. I have dealt with a lot of miscommunication, the offices being closed because bh management isn’t interested in ensuring that the office is staffed to be kept open during their regular business hours (I have never encountered a leasing office close for lunch & there are temp agencies for when receptionist staff take vacations) I don’t get home before they close at 6pm every weekday so when I am able to drop by I expect to have access. Most recently I encountered a staff that did not communicate my call in release (because I can’t make it in person during their office hours) to let a repair man fix my dryer, she did not communicate it to the rest off the staff & they did not grant them access. The company then tried to reschedule, when I called trying to set up a call in release they did not pick up, so I left a voice mail. No call back for a few hours, so I call again and have to leave another voicemail. That entire office day I left two voicemails & received no calls back. I would also like to add (without going into detail) that we were actually vital in stopping a crime that happened at this property & there was no appreciation for being an above & beyond resident. Not even the decency to be professional in normal interactions. Completely disappointed in the leasing staff. No response from the regional manager to an email concerning the issue even. Also, as others have mentioned, their “updates” are a crappy paint job at best & there are some obvious problems (especially in the bathroom) such as cracked flooring & ceilings. I don’t care about having the best but floor repair shouldn’t be too much to ask for.

I knew this was not a place I would stay for longer than a year, upon touring the complex, cars were parked in front of the dumpsters (blocking signs saying they will be towed for parking there) and construction equipment from the residents themselves took up parking spots. That showed me management is subpar, at best. I knew that the apartments available were gas, but I didn't know how bad of a problem that would be. NES refused to touch the water heater, saying it was (still is) out of their code. Not only did NES come out to tell me that they won't touch it, I had to wait for maintence to come out to turn it on. I have had numerous issues with that since move in, cold showers and a long winter have been included. I got a tracking update that a package was delivered to my doorstep and when I came home later that day no package was there. I called the office the next morning and asked if it may have been dropped off there and assumed the tracking update was wrong, they didn't seem the least bit concerned that a package went missing on their complex. I have since bought a P.O. Box and will not be renewing my lease come mid January. Yes these apartments are cheap (notice I said "cheap", not "inexpensive"-you get what you pay for) based on the location, but the stress you will eventually deal with on a monthly basis is not worth it. Trust me. I had ignored negative reviews and am regretting it.
I can 2nd the reviewer who said packages go missing. 1 of mine has and when I went to pick 2 others up, one envelope had been torn open and the other box had been retaped. I never accused the office staff of going through packages, but when I asked them to please be more watchful (showing them the box, envelope, and mentioning the missing package) they shrugged, said it has happened before, and blamed it on the delivery service. If it has happened before and they haven't changed then maybe it is them? Prior to moving here, I have never had a package gone missing or get delivered open. They didn't even offer up a half tried apology. They don't care about their residents enough to even pretend they do. Also, as prior reviews have said, it took me a full day to get my keys upon move in. After waiting in the morning and stopping by spending my full hour lunch break waiting, (I even called to verify I had a key ready) I had to come back the next day. In their defense they HAD a key...to another apartment. I have placed work orders from everything from the door, garbage disposal, dishwasher, sink, heater, air, water heater, and bathroom. I will admit they promptly came out to "fix" most things, but sometimes the problem comes back...again and again. The neighbors aren't ideal but that I can live with. I can not tolerate an unprofessional office staff who doesn't care about the people themselves, just their money. But, just for the fun, let me describe my neighbors. 1-as previously mentioned in another review, my apartment often smells like pot from neighbors. 2-people don't pick up after their dogs when they go to the bathroom in front of people's doors (I stepped in what looked like horse manure in the middle of the night going into my apartment through the back screen door). 3-children run around unsupervised in the parking lot and even lay in the middle of the parking lot, do their parents want them to get hit? 4-my apartment has been filled with cigarette smoke smell and I have been woken up to music being played at 3am and 6am and lastly 5-neighbors in their apartment with their car doors open and Mariachi music playing for everyone to hear on a Saturday afternoon. As I have said, I have dealt with horrible neighbors at other complexes and never write reviews, but, I have been in the customer service industry for 15 years and would have been fired immediately if I did half of the stuff this complex has done. Including their newest round of staff.
DO NOT move here. I have had numerous problems during my 10 months of living here. Twice during the month of December, (that I noticed) I have had no water at all. I noticed these times because I was getting ready for work and had to brush my teeth with a bottle of water. Water was turned on within the hour, but if water needs to be shut off due to something being fixed, residents need to know because we all have lives. Also, the water heater has a pilot light NES will not touch due to being out of code. It has gone out and left me heatless and hot water-less, something I realize yet again when I am getting ready. I have had to contact maintenance numerous times regarding this, a few of those times I have either had to boil water for a short bath or not shower at all. My electric bill has also gone up due to using thermal space heaters. I will admit they are usually quick about coming out during office hours, but office hours only. That hasn't helped on a weekend when I need hot water. Cars park in front of dumpsters/tow away signs all of the time, if they don't make their own spot in the middle of the road. BH Management is just as bad, they have yet to acknowledge an email I sent regarding a few issues. Just stay away from any BH owned property.
I was so impressed when I stayed here at Willow Grove! I was very sad when I decided to leave and make my new house purchase. The office staff and facility were are so helpful and willing to help with anything I needed!! Amazing place to live I would recommend this place to anyone!
I have lived here for the last 2 years and it has been horrible from the start. These Apts are overpriced and horrible quality, I have had several issues with the management and their lack of professionalism. I also had a problem with the maintenance staff that just show up to your Apt without any warning or even a knock at the door. Don't let the price fool you, look at other Apt Complexes, specifically ones not owned by BH management. The last thing I got to say is if you do end up living here you were warned.
These apartments are okay for how old they are. My husband and I have lived here a year. Pros: maintenance is quick to respond to work orders, pool is nice, and we loved the diverse community. We had no issues receiving mail and packages. Cons: Our apartment was a mess when we moved in. They did a terrible job painting and "renovating." We were supposed to move in on a Saturday morning, but they would not give us keys until 5pm. Our floors were not cleaned before we moved in because we couldn't wait any longer to move in. We had several issues with noise from our neighbors such as kids running up and down the stairs all day and another neighbor playing music loudly past midnight. Also, interesting fact: we could smell things from our neighbors such as what we are sure was pot. The only reason these apartments are this expensive is because they're in Nashville. You can get a much nicer apartment for this amount of money.
Apartment is close to highway, which is nice, easy access to the city.
I moved here the beginning of January. I was told when I could pick up my key. By the time the moving truck arrived I stilled didn't have keys to my place and all my stuff was in the hallway of my apt. I had to move in a hurry because my job sent me out of state the same week I moved. I waited 9 hours outside my apt before they let me in and waited 3 more until I got the key. After moving in, several packages had gone missing. The postman or mail carrier would leave a slip on my door or mailbox stating the parcel was left in the office, but they were not there. 4 packages were lost and never returned to sender. I had to file a police report due to the contents of the packages. After the police report, I received every one of my packages. If you don't have to talk to the leasing people you'll be fine. The apartments are cheap and really close to downtown and east Nashville. I've been here 8 months and have not called Maintenon, so I do don't know their response time.
