Whitewood Pond Apartments is a luxury apartment building containing a variety of single bedroom apartments. Located at 392 State Street in North Haven, it enjoys easy access to nearby commercial and industrial areas and to both the Merritt Parkway and I-91 via the Mt. Carmel connector.

There are twenty-two building "units", and each "unit" contains a recessed and protected entryway for six types of apartments. Each apartment has wall-to-wall carpeting.

The kitchen in each is fully equipped, containing a range, dishwasher, garbage disposal and a large, two-door refrigerator freezer, and there is a pantry closet in the kitchen-dining room area. There is electric heat and air conditioning.

The angled walls of most apartments greatly increase the spaciousness and permit exceptional flexibility for furniture arrangements, some of which are shown in the floorplans. There are also six "end unit" apartments, which are especially large.

All apartments command a lovely view of the beautifully landscaped grounds with their reflecting ponds; and of the distant hills.
