The new module will teach leasing professionals the best strategies for attracting potential residents online and converting them to signed renters. is also helping to revamp the overall course and develop new distance-learning options.

The new module will focus on marketing to the growing online population, with particular emphasis on Internet advertising, web site partnerships, utilizing national destination sites, online etiquette, online lead generation and follow-up, and new online technology and services.

The new module will be completed by early-June and incorporated into the NALP certification program, which is designed to teach leasing professionals the skills needed to help them become top producers. Since leasing professionals are usually the first people prospective residents meet, it is increasingly important that they portray the quality of the property's staff. The NALP program currently has 1,200 designates in good standing.
