APARTMENTS.COM POSSESSION OBSESSION CONTEST
VOID IN ALASKA, HAWAII, TENNESSEE, U.S. TERRITORIES, U.S. MILITARY INSTALLATIONS, AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW

1. SPONSOR
The Apartments.com Possession Obsession Contest ("Contest") is sponsored by Classified Ventures, LLC, 175 West Jackson Boulevard, 8th Floor, Chicago, Illinois 60604-2601 ("Sponsor").

2. ELIGIBILITY
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Tennessee, U.S. territories and U.S. military installations), who are at least 18 years of age as of August 13, 2007 ("Entrants"). Void in Alaska, Hawaii, Tennessee, U.S. territories, U.S. military installations, and where prohibited by law. To be eligible, the Entrant ("You", "Your", or "Yourself") must live in a rental apartment and maintain ownership of the possessions in your apartment which are featured in your submitted video during the period of your date of entry through November 30, 2007. Entrants and their apartments must be located in the United States or District of Columbia (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Tennessee, U.S. territories and U.S. military). LIMIT: One entry per person. Employees of Sponsor, its parent companies (Tribune Co., Gannett Co., Inc., Belo Corp., the Washington Post Company, and McClatchy, Inc.), subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, current advertisers on www.apartments.com, any Contest co-sponsors and those associated with the development, distribution or implementation of this Contest, including Shycast LLC, and members of their respective immediate families (parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses) and their household members, are not eligible.

As further described in Section 5 below, by entering, You agree to make Yourself available for promotional appearances (at Sponsor's cost and in accordance with Sponsor's expense policies) if selected as a potential Finalist and/or Winner. Each potential Finalist (see below) must sign and return to Sponsor an affidavit of eligibility/publicity/liability release and confidentiality agreement within five (5) days after issuance of the Finalist notification. Each Finalist must grant permission to Sponsor and its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, development/ distribution/ implementation partners, including Shycast LLC, and Contest co-sponsors to use his/her name, address, biographical information, likeness, photograph, picture, voice, statements, the possessions which are featured in your submitted video, and entry (including submitted video, photographs, or written materials) for administration of this Contest and for promotional and publicity purposes in any and all media, including without limitation, television, radio, print, and the Internet, in perpetuity without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. In addition, each Finalist must provide proof of residency (driver's license, utility bill, etc.) as of August 13, 2007 at the residence entered into the Contest. If a potential Finalist fails to execute and return required releases or proof of residency to Sponsor within the allotted time period, that Entrant may be disqualified, in which case Sponsor will select as a replacement Finalist, the next-highest ranked eligible entry, as determined by the Contest judges, who complies with all Contest rules and requirements.

By entering, You agree to permit Sponsor to visit your residence at a mutually agreeable time prior to the Finalist decision, for purposes of videotaping and interviewing inhabitants to verify authenticity and eligibility.

By entering the Contest, You affirm your eligibility and agree to all these requirements.

3. PRIZES
One (1) Grand Prize of a check in the amount of $20,000 will be awarded to the verified Grand Prize Winner (as defined below). A Runner-Up Prize of a check in the amount of $500 will be awarded to each of the two (2) Runner-Up Prize Winners (as defined below). Total value of all prizes is $21,000.

The Prize Winners cannot assign or transfer their prize to another person. Any expenses not stated herein (including, but not limited to, taxes or any other applicable fees or costs not expressly identified above that are related to the acceptance and/or use of the prize) are the sole responsibility of the applicable Prize Winner.

4. TO ENTER THE CONTEST
To enter, during the period of August 13, 2007 and September 10, 2007 visit www.apartments.com/possessionobsession (the "Web Site") and follow the on-screen instructions to submit a completed official entry form along with a video no longer than two minutes in length that creatively answers the question, "How have Your possessions become an obsession and taken over Your apartment?".

Your submitted video:

• May not include footage of any person other than You;
• Must include footage of You;
• Must include a statement within the first 20 seconds stating that the video is being submitted for the Apartments.com Possession Obsession Contest;
• May not include unsuitable or offensive content;
• May not contain content that is in violation of or infringes third party intellectual property rights including, but not limited to copyrights, including music copyrights, trademarks, and rights of publicity; and
• May not contain content to which you do not own all right, title and interest.

All entries must comply with all technical and other specifications indicated on the Web Site to be considered valid for entry. Any videos not satisfying the preceding conditions may be immediately disqualified. Entries must also comply with all representations and warranties indicated in Section 6 below.

Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on September 10, 2007. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries. Videos will not be acknowledged or returned.

You understand that Sponsor is working with Shycast, LLC to host submitted video entries and help implement the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of any of its partners or agencies. By entering the Contest, You grant Sponsor a perpetual, fully-paid, irrevocable, exclusive license to reproduce, prepare derivate works of, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, televise, digitize, edit, otherwise use, and permit others to use and perform throughout the world the submitted content in any manner, form, or format now or hereinafter created, including on the Internet, and for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising or promotion of Sponsor, the Contest, and Sponsor's products services, all without further consent from or payment to You. All submitted material ("Material") becomes the sole property of the Sponsor. Material includes to the extent applicable, any information and material (e.g., video) submitted by you in connection with the Contest, all photographs, drawings, recordings, audiovisual materials, writings, and statements furnished to Sponsor by You.

Any personal information about You collected in connection with the Contest will be used and disclosed pursuant to Sponsor's Privacy Policy at http://www.apartments.com/privacy.htm except as otherwise stated herein. By entering the Contest, You expressly agree to receive e-mail notifications from Sponsor regarding the status of the Contest. Unless You indicate that You do not wish to receive newsletters and e-mail from Sponsor, You may also receive Sponsor's newsletter and e-mail from Sponsor regarding Sponsor's products and services and other information that might be of interest to You.

5. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
A team of judges selected by Sponsor will select three (3) potential finalists ("Finalists") from among all eligible entries based on the following factors: originality of expression based on the following criteria: (10%) how your obsession began; (30%) how your possessions/collection are taking over your apartment; (30%) how extreme your obsession is; and (30%) the funniest experiences You've had because of your possession obsession. Creativity, humor, and originality are important! Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that may, in Sponsor's sole and exclusive discretion, be deemed to create potential liability or that may be deemed to be offensive or inappropriate for any reason. All decisions of the judges are final.

On or about September 17, 2007, the Finalists' entries will be posted on the Web Site. Visitors to the Web Site will vote online for the Finalist most deserving of the prize from approximately September 17, 2007 to October 19, 2007. Each voter will be required to provide his/her e-mail address when submitting a vote and only one (1) vote per day per unique e-mail address will be counted. Provided all other requirements of these Official Rules are met, the Finalist who receives the most eligible votes by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on October 19, 2007 will win the Grand Prize (the "Grand Prize Winner") and each of the other two Finalists will win a Runner-Up Prize ("Runner-Up Prize Winners"). In the case of a tie, the Grand Prize Winner will be the Finalist who received the highest score/most votes in the Finalist voting from the panel of Sponsor's judges. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify finalists or winners that, in Sponsor's sole and exclusive discretion, do not comply with the rules or the spirit of the Contest.

Finalists may be required and must be prepared to make promotional appearances (television, radio, or otherwise) on or between September 17, 2007 and November 30, 2007. In the event a Finalist cannot attend a television promotional appearance that is scheduled with a major media carrier, he/she will be disqualified. The selected Grand Prize Winner will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail on or about October 29, 2007 and must respond to the notification by telephone, fax or e-mail within three (3) business days of Sponsor's issuance of notification. Failure to respond completely and within the designated timeframe to the Grand Prize Winner notification or to comply with any other requirements may result in forfeiture of the Grand Prize and the next-highest vote winner among the Finalists will become the Grand Prize Winner. Any Grand Prize Winner notification returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate Grand Prize Winner. If the original Grand Prize Winner selected does not receive the Grand Prize, he or she will receive the Runner-Up Prize instead, provided all other requirements of these Official Rules have been met.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By participating, You agree to be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final on all matters pertaining to the Contest, and You waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Contest or these Official Rules. By entering the Contest, You represent and warrant to Sponsor that (i) you own all right, title and interest in and to the content of the submitted video; (ii) the video does not include unsuitable or offensive content; (iii) the video does not include any content that is in violation of third party intellectual property rights including, but not limited to copyrights, including music copyrights, trademarks, and right of publicity; and (iv) You have all rights necessary to submit the video in accordance with these Official Rules. All federal, state and other tax liabilities arising from this Contest will be the sole responsibility of the Prize Winners. Sponsor, any co-sponsor, its/their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotions agencies, and their respective employees, agents and contractors shall have no liability and shall be held harmless by You for any and all damage, loss, liability or any injuries to person or property, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, by reason of Your acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize(s) or participation in this Contest. Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually in Chicago, Illinois, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorney's fees. Sponsor, any co-sponsor, its/their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotions agencies, and their respective employees, agents, and contractors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete or unintelligible entries, telephone system or computer malfunctions, lost connections or transmission errors; (ii) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the acceptance, possession or usage of any prize or from participating in the Contest; or (iii) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any material associated with the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, suspend or adjust the dates of this Contest (with or without awarding any prizes) should a virus, bug, computer problem or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest. Sponsor may prohibit You from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines You are attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception, using automated voting, submitting any unauthorized content in the video, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other participants or Sponsor representatives. In case of a dispute as to the identity of a Prize Winner, such entry will be declared made by the registered user of the e-mail account, provided all other requirements are met. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

7. RULES/WINNERS LIST
The Prize Winners will be posted on www.apartments.com/possessionobsession on or about October 29, 2007.
