Maintenance management is terrible. Overall management is terrible. Paying steep rent for “luxury” apartments. I had a leak that persisted from the ceiling in my kitchen for over a month. It took approximately two months for the drywall to finally be repaired. I had a leak in my guest bedroom from the ceiling. The leak was repaired in a couple days, but they left a hole in the drywall for over two months now, no word on when they will be out to repair a hole in the drywall. Very disappointing as this is marketed as a luxury complex rent is steep, but don’t expect repairs to be done in a timely manner.

Rents are too high and maintenance service is worst. Office staff is very rude and they do not appear on time. Staff always say that they are busy on priority work which i believe is total lie.

The flat provided was different from the sample flats ..The new flat had a lot of draft but had to wait till the windows were replaced. Had to come after 5 to collect the keys and the office did not accommodate or consider long distance travel

Very good community. easy access to all important daily needs. I am staying from 6 years.. No complaints. Have referred many friends too. There have been management changes, some of the staff members are really good. Even the maintenance and complaints are handled well. Good Trash cleaning system too

The apartment has average amenities in a convenient area, but maintenance could be improved. The complex would benefit from updates to modernize older features. Move in was a breeze and haven’t had any issues so far. Only thing to note is the gym and indoor pool / hot tub isn’t 24/7. Neighbors and everyone around have been super friendly.

I've moved here over 2 weeks ago & I can say I won't be renewing my lease here! The apartment itself is ok, I have large closet space but for the price my shower faucet is rusted. You can hear doors from other apartments slamming & the main door doesn't lock. I'm on the 3rd floor & my floor vibrates from the neighbors underneath me. When I lay in my bed, it literally vibrates from the kids underneath me running or whatever they do to make my floor shakes. I was expecting a more peaceful environment but I was dead wrong & made a bad decision moving here. You hear dogs barking as you come through the main door. The community has nice landscape. Ask to do a walk through an actual apartment & not the model before you sign a lease here!

Muirwood is a good place to live, but I don’t know from last two months. I am seeing difference in Maintenance activity. I like this place, but I am also worried about the current situation.
The place is decent to live in, but the leasing staff comes across as rude and unhelpful, often withholding complete information from tenants. Non-emergency services and responses are slow, and despite increasing rents annually, they don't hire enough maintenance staff. They frequently mention that they only have three people to manage 1,500 apartments.
It very nice quiet community and safe. The neighbors seem to be nice and helpful. They keep the landscaping up the pool area is nice and clean to take a swim. It nice that they have food trucks that come out to the complex.

The move in process was smooth. All the questions were answered respectfully. But the application approval process took a long time. Personally, I was charged $800 security deposit, which I found inappropriate (too high).

Maintenance request takes more than 2 month to complete and no one bother to take a look on the request. Apartments are in prime location and shopping area is near by.

Muirwood maintenance is the worst I've ever seen thus far. They're unprofessional and does not make it on time even with the emergency requests. Temporary fix is not a recommended method and due to which we had to put in another emergency request in 2 days. I had to follow up multiple times to get the guy in here.

The community so far is very nice. I have met several of the my neighbors, all have been extremely friendly. I took a walk around the community and there is a lot to offer. I plan on exploring more.

They have gotten better with maintenance but seem to over look the outside appearance of the buildings that are not on the main street. Weeds are growing crazy and there is no mulch anymore

Amenities, maintenance is timely & good even though rental is expensive compared to other apartments in the vicinity. Clubhouse rental could be reduced too. Hotels, spa, saloon, library, grocery & convenience stores at a walking distance.

Very good and peaceful community with lot of amenities. Lease rentals are bit high and need to take care of this aspect. Other than this, everything seems to be good.

Really good place and location to stay. Clean and feels safe too. Staff sometimes difficult to get a hold of and answer questions in a timely matter.

Nice apartment in center of Farmington Hills with secure entrance, shopping area is close with all varieties of stores mainly Indian grocery, Indian restaurant, cafe etc., amenities are good too..

Horrible place & I regret renewing my lease. The policy to lock renters account on the 6th day of the month & force renters to bring in a cashiers check when paying online is more convenient for most is a horrible policy. Which is really a money grab. $50 late fee shouldn’t force renters to bring in a cashiers check. The policy of having the resident vehicle sticker present is not enforced. You guys took out our fire extinguisher & we have yet to get it. It’s been gone out of our unit since January of this year. It’s now the last two weeks of July. Parking is a headache. I work late in the evening until 5pm, I have to walk all the way across the parking lot to get to my private entry door. There is no security guard at the residents only entrance which is counterproductive. Someone is alway breaking the entrance gate guardrails so the complex is not always secure due to your lack of vigilance. 3 years I’ve rented and it gets worse every year. I would give no stars if I could.

Apartment need renovation. Kitchen appliances are out-of-date.Washer Dryer need replacement. Utility room look hazardous. Doorbell are antique . Build quality are rustic/old. Maintenance request takes forever to complete.

Moving into my new apartment at Muirwood has been quite a challenging experience. Unfortunately, the initial process was far from smooth. Firstly, there was a delay in the move-in date, which inconvenienced my plans significantly. On the day of the handover, I was disappointed to find several pending items that were supposed to be completed beforehand. This included unresolved maintenance issues and unfinished cleaning tasks. Furthermore, the interaction with the staff during this process left much to be desired. While some were helpful, others came across as rude and unresponsive to my concerns. Despite these issues, I appreciate the effort made by some members of the team to address my concerns promptly after moving in. However, I hope that going forward, the management can improve their communication and coordination to ensure a smoother transition for future residents. I look forward to seeing improvements in these areas to enhance the overall living experience at Muirwood.
