Property Ratings at The George Apartment Homes
So I just moved in and I’m already starting to regret it. I previously lived here and it was COMPLETELY different. Management actually cared about, you didn’t have to send tons of emails or make a bunch of calls to reach somebody, and maintenance actually did their job in a timely manner. Again, JUST MOVED IN, and you can tell that they didn’t do a proper cleaning or check of my unit. Especially since this was a unit I wasn’t initially promised. The previous tenants stuff is still in my storage closet, half my outlets don’t work, the water heater…tinks SO LOUD, I can’t wash my clothes in my own unit without maintenance coming to fix a water leak, and there’s a leak in the shower. I’ve put in multiple requests, told they were coming and NOTHING has been done in almost 2 weeks. Honestly, I hope I can come and change my review but at this point, I’ll be praying this lease goes by fast. It really gives off that they DO NOT care about you as a resident, and honestly makes the company look bad. Rent somewhere else, where they actually act like you matter.

Don't waste your time filling out any application especially if you don't like feeling as if u got to chase someone down for answer then when u do just to be told your denied and then acting like they wasn't the one who denied u smh and lie on top of that

I have lived here for less then a year and have had countless issues with this property. Upon moving in last August we saw at least 3 roaches a day (obviously an infestation). When was this problem fixed you may ask: Never. It's now May and we still have to call and ask for them to spray the entire apartment every other week just to keep the issue somewhat in check. SO they never really resolved anything. all of the drains clog very easily, the dishwasher has to be run twice to even clean anything, and now there is a leak in our ceiling. The leak was the last straw for us in a long list of issues. The management is subpar, the pool is filthy and didn't open till months after it was summer so don't get excited when you see pool advertised. We have put in countless requests for our issues and they essentially slap a band aid on and call it fixed. these apartments are WAY overpriced for their actual quality. To summarize, don't waste your money living here. There are MUCH better and cheaper places to live in Savannah.
The maintenance is on point and on time. Front office keeps us smiling every day thank you to everyone for doing a great job.

I've lived here for two years now and just signed a lease for a third year. I am in graduate school and am really happy here. The staff is stellar and always helps me when I need it. It is a very safe area with a bunch of kids. As an art student at SCAD, having the sunroom as a studio space is awesome.
We have lived here 10 years and plan on staying , very happy here, the staff is like family to us, and this has been my favorite home so far, Thanks for the Love, Carol and Cathy Sloan
I lived in numerous places in Savannah and this is BY FAR THE BEST PLACE that I have lived. CLEAN, QUIET, and the best STAFF MEMBERS who treat you with utmost respect and care. I would NOT live anywhere else in Savannah except at Georgetown Woods. Thank you Georgetown Woods for always attending to my needs whenever I had a small issue. I will RECOMMEND you to all who needs a place to say. I love you all!
I have lived at Waterford Plantation for 7 months and I'm not sure why anyone would want to live anywhere else in Savannah. This is the most quiet place I've ever been. The office staff is also extremely friendly. When I first moved in, I was by myself and I needed help carrying something up my stairs. The maintenance guys are always outside driving around in golf carts taking care of business. When I didn't notice one, I called the office and asked Lisa, the office manager if she could send one of them over to help me. They were all out fixing an AC unit in another unit (it was the middle of July) so about 3 minutes later, Lisa drove over to my apartment in a golf cart, hopped out in her stiletto heels and helped me herself! The office staff here makes you feel like a part of a family. Have a maintenance request? Fixed immediately! Have something delivered here? They take care of it! So please, if you are new to Savannah, do yourself a favor and check out these apartments. If you are not new to savannah, do yourself a favor and move here immediately! Sarah and Kelly will take very good care of you in the office! 2 pools, a fitness center, a dog park and a clubhouse? How could you possibly go wrong??
Georgetown Woods Apartment Complex is exceptional! For the past two years, I have resided in this apartment complex. Every question or concern I had (i.e. maintenance request, address change) was resolved in a timely manner by staff members Kelly and Sarah. Their sensitivity to each concern that I presented (whether big or small) showed me their dedication to their craft. The rooms are spacious and installed with up to date appliances. I would highly recommend this apartment complex!
I just moved here with my roommates about 2 weeks ago and this is the best apartment we have ever lived in. The staff is extremely nice and professional. They are no hidden fees or misleading contracts. The apartment is spacious and beautiful definitely worth the price
We just moved in a week ago, so far everything is awesome. Very clean and safe neighborhood, close to HAAF, and only 20-30 minutes from downtown. Apartments are huge and awesome. Carpeted bedrooms, hardwood floor in the living/dining room. Overall an awesome place to live!
1 bedroom/bath, wood floors, carpet in bedroom, bonus sunroom, washer/dryer connections, neutral (tans, beige, Browns)paint with crown molding in dining area. White kitchen/bathroom cabinets. White appliances in kitchen with great cabinet space. Sun room has a storage closet which is beneficial. Bedroom is smaller than desired, but a full sized queen bedroom set fits comfortably. Bedroom has a nice sized walk-in closet. Central air, ceiling fan in living room. Staff is friendly and maintenance support is quick and friendly. Police Officer lives on site and offers secuirity support if needed. Two pools, including salt water pool with club house that you can rent for events. Doggy play area, Tennis court, walking/running trail with pond for scenery. Parking is okay, might have to park away from building in the evenings. The grounds can be maintained better as far as pet waste that tenants leave behind. Location is the south side area of Savannah with had easy access to the downtown area and major highways. I have been living here for a year and recently renewed my lease. The rent was raised $10 which is not bad compared to other renters in the area. The immediate area has a few fast food restaurants, grocery store, gas station however access to more variety is 15-20 minute drive away. The apartment complex is quiet and safe, NEVER had a noise complaint or seen any negative police traffic.
I would recommend living in Waterford plantations. I have stand there for approx. 2 years with no problems. The staff in the leasing office was always nice. The property manager Lisa and Charles would try helping the best way they could within their means. The area is quite and I wasn't scared to walk my dogs at night. Overall, I really loved the location just decided to rent a house other wise I would stay.
