There’s nothing better than living in a city where residents have a true love for their community. Eden Prairie is praised by its locals, and for good reason! This welcoming suburb is a beautiful place to find your next apartment, with single-family homes, condos, and townhomes available for rent as well. The area is family-friendly with great schools. These are just two reasons why Eden Prairie has been consistently awarded as one of the best places to live in the nation.
Eden Prairie is situated outside of Minnesota’s Twin Cities, just 15 miles southwest of Minneapolis and 25 miles southwest of St. Paul. There are so many wonderful community amenities that are perfect for enjoying the great outdoors such as Miller Park, Purgatory Creek Park, Bryant Lake Regional Park, and Bearpath Golf & Country Club. In fact, the town has a total of 10,000 acres of land designated for green open spaces. There are also several lakes and beaches in the area.

Property Ratings at Edenvale
It's a shame really, the office people seem to be fairly nice with the new management team. However, the whole building is infested with roaches. Upon moving in, we found roaches in our apartment. We informed the office and they've had it treated, still roaches. They will not let out us out of our lease, because it's considered "habitable" even after the whole apartment has been treated 4 times and there's still roaches. You see them crawling in the stairwells and hallways, just nasty. They allow cigarette smoking in the building and on the property, which we did not know either until our downstairs neighbor started smoking on her deck directly into our open windows. Couldn't get out of there fast enough, and wouldn't recommend.
The staff was very polite all the time I liked that. But at the end I was left with a sour experience. I had a cleaning company clean the apartment for me and I stayed there while they did that to make sure everything was spotless just to receive a letter from them that they had to do 5 hour of cleaning after I left that cost me an additional 175$. When I talked on the phone with them about that they kept saying the blinds where broken and the toilet lead was cracked. I was fine paying for that I have a 2 year old that grew up pretty much in the appartment. I was told the stove top was sent clean(I actually changed the catch pans so they don't say it was not clean, I even helped the cleaning company pull the stove out to clean behind it. It was just sad to see they would get so low and charge me 5 hours of labour. Plus I left the apartment a month early and payed for it and they had people moving in almost right away. They never told me for a second they would give me some credit or anything instead they sent me a bill. I would not recommend this to anyone
Take it from the other reviews on here. The office staff is very inconsistent in what they say and what they do--they're very unwilling to help and will barely lift a finger to assist you with your problems.
I'm not sure I could say it much better than the other reviewer. The office staff is very obviously power and money-hungry and the building manager, Mary, doesn't make any effort to appear warm or friendly. Maybe she'll take a hint from the numerous 1 star reviews on platforms like this. Still, Edenvale would be far from being worth living in, especially for the cost and rent increases and inconsistencies and lack of communication between office staff. I've had a far better experience in the two other complexes I've lived in.
Office staff? Prickly, dense, power-hungry. Noise? Atrocious. Need something right away? Hotel it first. This should be your last resort.
