Exhausted. Frustrated. It's always something. Think of citation as putting lipstick on a pig. Either it's an unfixable leak for 4.5yrs, mice, shrews, burst pipes, leaks, long turnover of submitted work orders, short notice communication of community or building related repairs, incomplete community repairs, incomplete fall or spring preventive maintenance. Clueless office staff. Lowest bidded contractors always hired. The most aggravating AI resident Assistant robot and biggest joke of a service. Decisions to neglect building exteriors upkeep to add keyless entry doors. Pointless gated community entrance. Luxury as adverse is a joke. In short, it's always something here but not in the good wa

Everything is good, except encountered mice within first 2 weeks after moving in. The pest control did come in and put traps. Also, other than non stainless steel appliances, had to replace kitchen faucet on my own as the one available was spraying water all over.

Could use some pedestrian walkways. I hate coming home at night having to dodge 'em dog walkers walking in the streets because they have no other options.

Move-in was slightly delayed but accommodating. Appliances were mostly in good condition, except some were a little older. The staff was very helpful in terms of facilitating the move-in.

I like living here my apartment location but I'm not satisfied with the process updating appliances. . My stove and refrigerator it's about time for new one. My bathroom cabinet/sink need updating. Other than that I would be totally content. I have lived in nice places all my life so I'm accustomed to how things should be.
The staff at Citation Club apartments are very welcoming and warm. This was my first time renting so I was very apprehensive about the whole situation. Neal and his team took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable and secure. I would recommend this place to my family and friends. Very quiet peaceful community.

My apartment wasn't ready for my move in date. Had to reschedule movers. Move in: several windows have blinds missing, or soiled. Told blinds were on back order. Main bathroom toilet crooked, botched job on flooring and wall trimming area, hinges on overhead cabinets loose. Day #4: No hot water, with Maintenance fixing problem. Day #7: No hot water again. Maintenance replaces hot water tank next day. Day #9:hinge on cabinet door comes unhinged. No cold water cycle for washing machine not working. Maintenance request submitted for all of the above.

Beautiful luxury space to call home, the land around is more like a neighborhood than a complex with lots of land and water features and trees, all my visitors say visiting feels like I live in a resort

My move in experience could have been better. My start date got pushed back by a month with only a weeks notice. When i finally got my apartment, it had pet hairs which got stuck to the wall because they painted over it. Now it's hard to remove it

So far so good! I've been living here for close to a month now and while there were/are a few small issues i've come across when moving in they are just that.......minor. The leasing team (notably Kristina) is awesome! Hopefully nothing changes!

PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and not live in Citation Club Apartment Farmington Hills . I am currently living here without heat for over a month and both the office and manager don’t care about it. Worst condition of apartment: when we first moved in here 3 months ago, we did not have hot water for one week or so, the whole apartment was dirty dirty and there’s bugs everywhere, cracks on most of the cabinets, they did not pushed the dryer all the way to the wall, we have to call for an emergency for one night because water was coming down from the ceiling to our bathroom! This list goes on….the front desk haven’t been much helpful with any of these issues I have try letting it go but the one I am dealing right now is something I’m not letting go without an emergency solution. We haven’t had heat since 4 weeks now in this cold weather!! since the temperature keep dropping below 65 we have called more than 10 times, put work order for several times and the issue haven’t not been solved. The maintenance came in says it’s working when it’s not and temperature will drop in the next 15-20 minutes after they left. At this point I don’t even know what else to do and I don’t want to continue staying in cold temperature while paying a large amount for this (not even ok) apartment and getting sick every week.

I really want to like this apartment complex but I’ve been dealing with an issue of rodents in the ceiling of my bedroom for almost a month now. It’s affecting my sleep since I hear scratching and tearing of materials in the walls all night. I’ve called the front office and they haven’t been much help, and they even gave me the number to the person they have for pest control (as if it’s my job to take care of the issue myself) and he hasn’t helped at all. If anything it’s gotten worse. I’m tired of losing sleep while paying a large amount for this apartment and they won’t help with the rodents in the ceiling. Highly dissatisfied.

When I moved in, the apartment was dirty with bugs. Not a single door is aligned or shuts properly. The windows leak in my master bathroom since I moved in. As temps dropped I placed an emergency ticket over a month ago, now the temperature has dropped to sub 10F and they changed the ticket to a non-emergency. I can’t use my master restroom and sometimes even the bedroom that’s how bad it leaks! How is this a non emergency? What is the point of 24 hour maintenance? Anyway this is my 5th month here the amount of tickets I already placed throughout and the ones that I still need to place is what it’s like living here. If you like this then this is the place for you.

Worst condition of apartment . They don’t help anyone but they expect people to wait patiently Worst maintainence ever. And I have never seen anyone so unhelpful and not responsible for that they are doing

? Don’t stay here! We were there from Sept 2000 until June 30th 2021 because it took longer to find a house than we planned. Worst place ever! The staff are rude and condescending, the maintenance is unresponsive. we had a non Gfci switch relight next to master bathroom sink! No response from maintenance. Front door had a 1/2 inch gap making it impossible to warm or cool properly. If they take you on a tour ask them to show you the rear of the apartments and the patios. You will probably see screen doors off and/or lots of trash. The only reason my screen door was up because after two attempts by maintenance when we first moved in I fixed it my self The washer and dryer are sub par at best, the dryer takes forever to dry because the vents have never been cleaned . With dryer running I put my hands under the vent outside and no airflow We were forced to pay $300.00 more per month because we wouldn’t sign a new lease and went month to month. The last month we were there they left the sprinklers running for nearly 3 weeks! When I called to ask why,I was told it was because of new sod, there was no new sod, I believe they just didn’t know how to shut it off. I spoke with a maintenance worker about this and I was told that it wasn’t hurting anything so “why do you care”. I replied that it was now a mosquito breeding grounds, that’s why I care!! After we had a 2 ft wide river at the bottom of the hill behind our apartment they finally shut it off. Don’t be fooled when you see how nice the entrance looks, the rest of the complex landscaping is bland and grass is not cut often The pools indooor and outdoor are closed more than they are open and the hot tub has never worked. Worst experience ever! I will never forget how they treated us and will never recommend anyone to stay here! Sent from my iPad

I live currently here and I have to say that the apartments are just ok, some of the appliances are old are in a bad shape. The maintenance service is pretty slippery, but what more upsets me the more, is the arrogance of one of management workers. You will realize that the customer care is very poor. The amenities like the gym is tiny and the air conditioning is in very bad shape. They just surprise us with an increase of the rent prices.If you want to contract by 6 months the percentage increase is by the 20%. They will increase the 40% of your current rent if you want to go month by month. This is an expensive rent for an ‘ok’ apartments and very bad service. The gate is almost all the time broken. It is a nightmare.

What they are telling people on the phone is not what you will be charged. The people on the phone do not have the proper training and are not giving out the right information. Unfortunately they just say sorry and still charge you. They also have a secret, and I mean un written fee in the lease agreement that they will charge you!! Unfortunately we already starting changing our billing statements over and setting up movers because our house sold so fast. To help other people in the future MAKE sure you have a lawyer read everything line by line to make sure you are not out hundreds of dollars like us and sign to something you did not commit to.

You place a work order and they do nothing about it. I have lived here barely a month with the water heater failing.i have gone to the leasing office and they are helpful. Not to mention the window blind that fell off the night we moved in and nothing has been done despite visiting the office and even placing a work order.

The apartment clearly wasn't prepared mechanically for move-in on 4/17/21. The tub-shower valve was not completed causing water damage to the bedroom carpet and the apartment unit below requiring a carpet cleaning company to come. Maintenance left his plumbers putty which we had to take to the office. The clothes washer hoses (hot, cold) were reversed which we fixed. There are two light switch plates still missing in the bath and kitchen - electrocution hazard. We still can't use the gas clothes dryer because you haven't come to check the exhaust hose connection - the room heats up and lint is blowing from under the dryer - carbon-monoxide hazard. The gas fireplace still doesn't work- you were notified. The balcony was covered with years of bird nest material which we cleaned. More concerns on Check-In list. The rep checking us in didn't have access to front entrance control cards. We are not happy residents. 4/26/21

My maintenance requests have always been handled promptly, professional and to my satisfaction. For me, this is a very important service for a resident. Also, I would like to point out that Assistant Manager, Jeff, exemplifies excellent communications skills. He is pleasant to talk to because he is professional and talks to you, and not at you. To me, this is important in maintaining resident satisfaction. I have no complaints with the community office.

The management team could be a bit considerate when people are being put into a position that is not in there control. Im being moved due to work and the management team seems to be more concerned with the new tenants that they have rented my apartment to. But Im still going to be charged two months rent upon leaving. They call it a fee but a fee would be $500 or something like that.... not the total price of my rent. These companies get over on people with their allowed fees. But they didnt hesitate to rent my apartment out before I am able to leave. I have also been treated less than nice in my opinion when I had to change my move out dates due to not having my place available in the new state that Im moving to.

Citation Club apartments are really nice to live in, specifically if they are on the top floor. The large bay windows let in a lot of natural light and the vaulted ceiling makes the space look bigger. The kitchen appliances and cabinets are good, more so after the renovation. The responses to maintenance requests fluctuate - sometimes they are quick, and at other times they take several days. The Management is usually helpful. Services like trash collection are prompt, but I wish they would install recycling bins.

Things are pretty on the surface until you learn the quality of the apartments and staff are low. If you want to live somewhere with endless insects, water leaks, and a rude office that doesnt resolve issues, here is the place.

We love the property and our new apartment. We did initially have a problem with a leak. It was very difficult to find the source. Rob in maintenance came multiple times to fix it - he was hard working, very diligent at taking care of our problem even though it required multiple visits. The only complaint I have is that I expected a little more cleaning prior to us moving in. Most of the windows had spiderwebs, a lot of the screens are broken, patio door track quite dirty.

Overall experience is okay but the service requests take forever and unless you call them multiple times they are not addressed. Other than that everything else is good.

The grounds maintenance is very good. The management has notified residents of current status of resuming opening of the pools,etc. Staff is respectful when discussing residents concerns, such as maintenance requests.
