We have really enjoyed living at Casa De Marina for the past 5 years. A lot has changed for the better. The entire complex has been upgraded since we moved here in 2011. Most of the neighbors are very friendly, and the feeling of our building is more community like. The Management team does a great job getting results! The location to stores, shopping, fine dinning and entertainment are second to none! It has been a very positive experience; living at Casa De Marina.
Good for the price!
Pros: -safe and quiet environment. -good deal for the price -clean properties -nice and useful property manager Cons: -small parking spaces -cold pools -limited outdoor spaces for kids -pool, rec rooms... don't have any bathrooms.
Best Value for Me and My Cat!
I had been looking for an apartment for weeks, and this was the first place that wasn't way overpriced. It's pet friendly, which is great. There's a pool, lounge chairs, BBQs, well-equipped fitness room, and rec rooms you can rent. It's beautifully maintained -- love the trees and flowers. It's two blocks from the bike path (15 minute ride to the beach), and the staff are friendly and helpful.
I work a lot. It's quiet and most of the people are nice.
Casa De Marina
These apartments are nicely updated, large, and reasonably priced-- but unfortunately are not well-built ( so while they look nice, things are installed poorly and fall apart with one touch). The management at this complex is absolutely horrible, however-- unresponsive, and fail to do even the most basic tasks ( like having a working key for our apartment when we moved in, or charging you for rent properly).
Casa De Marina
I've lived at Casa De Marina for more than 5 years and I couldn't be more happy! To live so close to the marina and not pay Marina prices is awesome. The staff has always been friendly since the day I came in for a tour. My favorite staff member is Bobby. He is awesome! I love where I live :)
Great location, great apartments
These apartments are in a great location, located between Marina del Rey and Culver City with easy freeway access. Apartments are spacious and nicely fixed up. Lots of storage and management takes great care of the grounds and responds quickly to maintenance requests. All in all, these apartments are fantastic and I love living here.
Casa de marina
These apartments are newly remodeled and very quiet. The accessibility to the beach, Venice, Santa Barbara and many other places are only a few miles away. Also in a nice neibor good where I feel comfortable letting JT girlfriend walk out dog alone in Los Angeles. The apartments are also rent controlled which is even better so the prices don't sky rocket. Overall we are looking to move to a 2 bedroom soon enough.
2 Bdr 1 Bath Marina
I live in a great 2 Bedrooms 1 Bath apartment close to Marina del Ray area. I move there recently. It is not far from my work and I love the layout, space, and size. The apartment complex has great amenities available to tenants. Overall, it is great choice for great living standards.
Casa De Marina
Nice quite community. Management is friendly, maintenance is quick to respond and fix the problem. There tends to be quite a few maintenance issues around the community that require an inconvenience such as water shut off, but they leave notices on the doors days in advance. They are working hard to update the community and units so they look their best! As with every place, there are pros and cons, but I have been here for 3 years and am overall very happy!
Large Apartment Near the Beach
We've lived in this apartment for 11 years. That should say something. The apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom. The living room is huge and the bedrooms are a perfect size. There is only 1 bath but the sinks a separate from the toilet and shower making it easy to get ready in the morning. We love the neighborhood. It's quiet and safe. You can walk to a few movie theaters, grocery stores or coffee shops within a mile or two. You can drive to Home Depots, Targets, Trader Joe's and Costco within 10 minutes. Although the apartment is on the westside there are many options of surface street routes to the rest of the city. We can get to the eastside in around 45 minutes. Overall we really enjoy living at Casa de Marina - no apartment is perfect but we haven't found a reason to leave in 11 years.

Living here for over a year now and Casa De Marina Apartments has been a great place to live. Best rental value in the area, close to Marina Del Rey, Playa Del Rey, and Playa Vista. Units have been upgraded and amenities are good!
Loving my very light 2 bedroom apartment. Was redone before I moved in. The staff is friendly and helpful, great place to live in.
Pet friendly and close to the beach
This is the perfect building if you want a pet-friendly environment. Meow! Woof! We're close enough to the beach that you get those cool, marine layer mornings in June and July. You can also walk or bike to the beach on the bike path that's just two blocks away. There's a pool, well equipped fitness rooms where I do weights, spinning and yoga several times a week, and the whole place is nicely landscaped. I don't use the barbecues but they're there. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We just got new double paned windows too.
Charming little community
The Casa de Marina Apartments offer a gated little sanctuary from the noise and chaos of Los Angeles. Because the buildings are dog- and kid-friendly, you always meet friendly new neighbors walking their pooches or babies.
Great place to live
The area is excellent. The community is quiet and parking is gated. There is a pool, sauna, hot tub, grills, and a gym that is available for everyone to use.
The apartment's pretty good. It has some good amenities like pool table, pool, etc, but it's ok. What I like about living here is the location, it's next to some good bike paths that leads to the beach.

Close to the beach, shopping and freeways. Very nice apartments with many new upgrades. Best deal in town! Great management team too!
Pet Friendly and Beautifully Maintained
This is the by far the best-maintained apartment building I have ever lived in. The staff are always helpful and understanding, and they are constantly upgrading and touching up the common areas. The unit was super clean when I moved in and -- get this -- it's a pet friendly building so most of my neighbors are animal lovers and owners. The Ballona Creek bike path is just a couple of blocks away -- I bike down to the beach several mornings a week and can watch the blue herons in the creek at low tide. I also use the fitness room which is well equipped and maintained. And it's way more reasonable than many buildings in the area.
Clean, dog friendly, and amazing customer service!
From the clean property, EXCELLENT location, and dog-friendly accommodations, to the responsive and friendly management team and staff - I give Casa de Marina my stamp of approval! In LA, it was very hard to find a quality complex that also allowed pets, including larger dogs. CDM welcomes in pets and makes the process very simple. There are also convent areas close by to take your dog out for walks, etc. But even with the pets, the complex is perfectly clean. I'm amazed each day at how well groomed and maintained the property is. Last, you can't beat the location. Only about 2-3 miles from the beach, around the corner from the heart of Marina del Rey, minutes from Venice Beach and Santa Monica, and a short drive to the heart of downtown LA. It's very convenient. The management team have taken great care of me and any request I've had. I love calling CDM home.
Casa de Marina
Pros:It offers a nice and quiet place to live. Closed to certain amenities (new Whole Food...). It is well maintain and clean. The apartments are nice and there is good storage spaces. Cons: The pool is freezing cold. The parking spaces are very small and hard to access. There is no public restrooms for pool guests or rental room guests. There is not enough room for kids to play around.
For the price in the area, the apt really cannot be beat. The on site management is helpful, but usually their hands are tied by Jones and Jones and cannot really make changes or improvements. The top three pros about the apt are: 1. Dog friendly 2. All of the neighbors are really nice 3. Rent control. Other than those three reasons the apt is unremarkable.
Quiet beach community
This is a very nice community that is a mile from several popular beaches and also very close to the 90 and 405 freeways. Despite being next to two schools, I have never had any noise issues while living here. It is a very dog friendly apartment complex and while that could be a turn off for some, it was a selling point for me. Overall I am very happy at Casa De Marina.
Home sweet home
This is the best place that I have lived at. I love the community of friendly people as well at the super efficient management team. The location is perfect. Near schools and the beach. The bike path is close by and not to mention the local farmers market. This is a great place in a very convenient, quiet location. Love it.

Casa De Marina
My boyfriend and I moved into Casa De Marina in July and we couldn't be happier! We have a large 2 bedroom priced right for our budget. There are pools, saunas, BBQ's, and a gym. Everything is routinely maintained and clean. The apartments are located very close to the Marina, but away from all the traffic of Lincoln Blvd. We were looking for a place where we can avoid Lincoln at all costs and we found it! Athena is a great property manager who will drop everything to help her tenants out. I really appreciate the small community here - everyone is very friendly. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking to live in the Marina but doesn't want to pay $2500 for a 1 bedroom apartment!
The area is nice, quiet area. Only a mile away from movies theaters, beach, restaurants, etc. There is a lot of new buildings and businesses being built in the area like Wholefoods and Cinemark, and we are super excited to be so close to it all. Hopefully a Trader Joe’s is next!! As far as the apartments themselves, the only downside is the laundry room could be maintained a little more, and one too many dogs for my liking. The gym was just repainted, and the pool and BBQ are great!!! Management is helpful, but you may have to get on them from time to time. We have been here for now over 3 years, and plan on being here for a few more!
This turns out to be one of the best apartments I've ever lived in. Management is great, very responsive, the apartment is beautiful--it's an older building but they've done some really excellent renovations, including new double-pane windows, granite counters and upgraded floors. The location is great: within a couple of blocks of the Ballona Creek path, and easy walking, biking, and driving distance of shopping, restaurants, and of course, THE BEACH! It's about the best location one could ask for, particularly for the price. I love it.

A very Friendly comunity
This is a really good apartment building full of flowers and happiness every single corner you turn around there is a smile.They allow dogs and it is a very friendly place to be in they have every thing from playing at the pool to losing weight at the fitness area their.They even have a party hall for people to have birthdays or other celebrations.The managers there are really nice they were the once to help us find the perfect apartment for our family.It even has a game room,how fun is that right super!!!!!!!!.They have very good safeness their to have a safe environment around the area and has a very very friendly community and staff.Thank you.
Best price in the area
I've been living here for a little over a year. Quiet, friendly. Everyone has a dog (I don't lol). People in the office aren't so nice except for Bobby. Gets hot in the apts in the summer time so you def need a fan. Their A/C rules are a little aggravating! Rent is a little high but the cheapest you will find in the area. Rent seems to go up about 50 bucks a year. Pool, BBQ and gym are always empty so you'll always have it to yourself it seems. In order to use the game room, you need to get a key from management which I find annoying. I give this place 4 out of 5 stars.

Decent apartment especially for the price. Nice wood flooring and nice area near Marina del Rey. There is a gym in my complex and two laundry rooms that are available for use. The pool and bbq area is only a short walk away. There are tons of bars and restaurants around the area and using uber won't cost more than $10 bucks each way. Tandem parking for residents.
Moderate Luxury, Ultimate Convenience
We love this neighborhood and the building and grounds are well maintained with nicely manicured walkways. There are two pools, two jacuzzis and two saunas on the property which can really help one to decompress. There are new soundproof windows in all the units and the neighbors are all pretty quiet so it is generally very peaceful. The garbage pickup can be a bit loud and sometimes the maintenance will cause some noise as well, but even when they use a leaf blower they seem to use a very low and hushed setting. At my old place the leaf blower was full blast screaming and would drive me nuts (I do some work from home). The apartment itself is cozy yet spacious with ample storage for our three person family. The bedrooms are a good size as well and we like the laminate flooring and nice kitchen cabinets. The appliances (microwave, stove, dishwasher) are all fairly new and in good working condition. Our biggest complaint might be that they painted almost all the walls a latte brown that doesn't quite suit our taste, at least in the living room. Even for a two bedroom the floor plan is pretty open with a cutaway over the bar to the kitchen. There is also a small but nice balcony and we love the side by side sinks in the bathroom. The property is very secure with fob entry gates for parking and walkways. The same fob will get you into the tidy laundry rooms, the gym, the conference room and the aforementioned pool and sauna areas. One little fob to access everything and then just one apartment key, makes things simple and light on the key chain! I mentioned convenience in the title because our son's school is across the street and my wife and I have about a ten minute ride to work each. We are seven minutes from a beautiful beach, two minutes to an awesome bike path and are near plenty of great parks. Easy access to Marina Del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica, Westwood, Culver City, Manhattan Beach and more. So far we are loving our new place!
Casa de Maeina
My apartment meets all my needs. My neighbors have become my extended family, everyone greets my dog by his name, and know my cat as the one who calls to anyone willing to talk to him. The gardens remind me of home in Hawaii, the ferns, hibiscus, bird of paradise all say aloha. Swimming pool, exercise room (which I avoid), and even a recreation room are all available. Location is perfect, minutes drive to the grocery store and work, and even two restaurants a short walk away.
What a great experience!!
When we decided find a new apartment, we had some important "must have" in mind, like it got to be a pet friendly, in quiet street, and a few other points. This building was the first one that we looked and, honestly, each apartment that we saw before sign the contract had this tasting of "is not even close as Casa de Marina". We had a great costumer service with the staff before and after we moved in. Neighbors are really friendly. Looks like everyone has dogs but at the same time, the building is really quiet. We are loving live here and definitely recommend to everyone. Oh, and it is really, REALLY close to the beach and Marina del Rey. Awesome!! What a great experience we are having in here.

Life is great at CASA de Marina
We have lived at CASA de Marina for 6 years, and have had the best experience. The location is phenomenal and LA's best kept secret. The grounds are beautiful and consistently maintained. The office staff responds within 24 hours to maintenance issue. We have amazing neighbors. It's where are kids are growing up. It's home and we're proud to live here.
We are really very happy here at Casa De Marina. The staff at the front office is always very helpful and friendly, and the maintenance of the property is always beautiful and well kept. Walls are a little thin so you can hear your neighbors at times, but for the most part everyone is respectful of that. The bike trail to the beach, located behind the building is one of the best perks! Along with a hot tub, grills, and gated parking. We love our little home here, and aside from the occasional loud neighbors above us, we are very content. Management will always look into any complaints that do come up and handle them right away, so we feel like we are taken care of. Close to all the beach towns, but in a quiet neighborhood away from touristy areas. Venice and Santa Monica all easily accessible by bike, which is fun on the weekends. Great little, homey, quiet spot if you want to be by the beach...which in So Cal, why wouldn't you want to be by the beach?
This place rocks.
We were hesitant to move in because the neighborhood is boring. And yes, the neighborhood is boring. At least until you hit up Ronnie's and realize that place is ridiculously good. But that's beside the point. But after a year living here, we are thrilled. The apartments are great. Our unit was completely restored right before we moved in. We were literally taking stickers off appliances for the first few days. Everything feels clean and functional (except the paint which is the cheap stuff you expect from apartment buildings). The walls are surprisingly thick -- we hear very little from the 2-year-old who lives above us. And this year they installed new windows! Management is awesome as well. Bobby is the man -- he helped us get our place and we still see him every day. They get maintenance done on the same day and are even friendly to dogs when they're in the apartment. Also being able to pay rent online is a huge plus. My formal score would actually be a 4.75 (I rounded up) because the pool is a huge waste of space. It's half-covered and sits directly underneath apartments, which is weird. We call it Grotto Pool. But besides that, we couldn't be happier.
Living the good life!
I enjoy coming home to my apartment, the complex, and the wonderful people who build a great community. The open lush green landscape and tropical flowers reminds me of how great it is to be in West Los Angeles. The complex is well kept, they are always looking for ways to improve it, and the on-site management and maintenance team are great.
