Outer Canton

Outer Canton, more commonly referred to as North Canton, is as inviting as its mother city. The more residential side of the Canton area, Outer Canton is a great place to live, work and raise a family. The school system is one of the highest rated in the state, and the options for entertainment are almost endless with such close access to the greater Canton area. Located 60 miles south of Cleveland, Canton is the county seat of Stark County, which offers a booming service area and excellent job and business opportunities.

The area's close proximity to Interstate 77 and U.S. Routes 30 and 62 gives locals quick access and brings in a steady flow of visitors that keep the town thriving. Canton is perhaps best known for being home to President William McKinley and his famous front porch campaign, launched from his very own Canton home, that eventually won him the election.
