Senior Product Manager

Tim is responsible for strategy and development of consumer-facing initiatives at Apartments.com. He and his team craft our leading search experience, both for desktop and mobile devices, in addition to optimizing all that content to be discoverable by our robot friends at Google, Bing, etc. Tim also knows a little about how to leverage social tools in a business context and drives Apartments.com’s efforts for such integrations in the consumer space.
Prior to joining Apartments.com, Tim managed consumer marketing and insight initiatives at Cars.com and spent several years at a research consultancy advising brands on market positioning, communications strategy and creative development. Tim spends much of his personal time obsessing over the prospects (or lack thereof) of the Chicago Cubs and Fighting Illini, while exploring the tastes, sights and smells that Chicago has to offer.
Tim’s posts will focus largely on emerging trends on the web, mobile and in social media that are relevant to the multifamily industry. He will also occasionally give his talented team props for new product launches we think you’d like to hear about.

Now Multifamily Pro is at it again, bringing back some of the best speakers from March for OptSum, fall edition.  Personally, I’m really excited to hear Brian Solis discuss the principles of the Conversation Prism and Lauren Fernandez detail how social can help us communicate more effectively across generations, in addition to my friends Mike Whaling and Duncan Alney dropping knowledge on Facebook and online reputation management, respectively.
